quick scripting questions...

I've recently been working on a map called Isle of Cthulhu and wanted to use some scripting in it. However i'm new to scripting and have just a few questions:

1. Is it possible to make a scipt that will only be triggered if the player is crouching? If so, how?

2. This is probably asking too much but is it possible to have a secret area in a map that can only be accessed by typing a certain phrase into the command console?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
