Darn you RedHawke, that sounds like a challenge. Iím going to have to go to my parents house and go through a old cedar chest filled with all my childhood heirlooms. I donít imagine it will be working, but perhaps I can find my Pete Rose rookie card if I didnít use it as a bicycle engine. At least I know Iíll find action figures of Steve Austin, Evel Knievel, GI Joe (from when he was 12 inches tall and had the knug fu grip) and a bunch of damn dirty apes. My mother will love you, she has been trying to get me to clean the cedar chest out for twenty years.

My first video game was Pong at the arcade. I remember playing it while the Beatles' Got To Get You Into My Life was playing on the radio.

Who here has played a pinball machine that took dimes? We had one in the little country grocery store my parents owned. It turned over at 100,000.

I'm not sure...
I didn't really have games until I was about 6 (aka 2000) and I got a Playstation 1. I got the 2 Megaman Legends. Last year, I finally got off my lazy a** and completed both

I still have a working pong system. Granted, I wasn't playing it when it actually came out, but still, working pong.

Pong.

Even ended up making my own pong game and a lightgun game from plans in a popular electronics mag around that time (highschool). Played them on a little B&W Sony portable I had... visions of things to come.

My First game was either Sonic Adventure or NBA basketball on the Dreamcast. Sonic adventure was so fun, bu the sequel sucked.

I'm a dinosaur, even at my age. I've seen the days that preceeded Super Mario Brothers.

My first games were pacman for the game council. For the computer, it was Grandma's House... of course it wasn't really a game. The computer needed a floppy to boot up!

Eh, first would be Donkey Kong or Pacman, but if we're talking more modern stuff, JK1.

Mine was Spyro the Dragon. I bought it right after getting a PS1. Really set the standards for platforming gameplay for me. After that I bought the rest of the PS1 series and then went into shooters.

Either Duck Hunt for the SNES, or Sonic The Hedgehog in some sort of way...

I remember when I had a Genesis. I had a game called Boogerman. :3

Oh yes! I remember it! It's that rather "peculiar" game where you could fart to kill your enemies, right?

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this thing, but I do remember that it was an RPG on the SNES where you wandered around doing FF style quests, with a flute as your only 'weapon'...and a pig? I must have been about seven - about 1995, but the game was older.

Ooh...difficult. I think Sonic on the old Sega Megadrive, at a cousin. And, my own, Zelda: Link's Awakening on the good old Gameboy Color. Took me months to save up for the gameboy...but it was worth it.

Wait...that was 1998...means I'm a gamer for 10 years now

Oi, I don't even remember, it was so long ago.

The earliest video game-related picture of me would be one with me on the ground near a Super Mario Bros. 3 cartridge. I think I was about one or two.

For me, I was so young, I can't be completely sure what my first game was. But I do remember playing either Super Mario Bros. 3 or Star Fox both on the SNES when I was about 2-3
