I've been having weird Internet problems...

I can't open http://www.hotmail.com on my computer, nor http://www.direct2drive.com or the Electronic Arts download manager. Funny--I can get to this site OK, but not any of the others. What could be wrong?

Sounds like a spyware problem to me.

What...erm...protection software do you have (ex. I have Norton 360). Do you have any spy sweeper software on your computer?

DNS troubles, perhaps? Trying switching your DNS to OpenDNS or others. Here's the OpenDNS IP: 208.67.222.222 Alt: 208.67.220.220 Something like this happened to me before and a quick DNS change fixed it for me.

I had something similar recently. For me at least, it turned out being that my ISPs settings weren't plugged into my modem properly, it was working ok, but my ISP had changed a couple of things without loudly telling us

@Tsy, did you get your new pc yet?

Moved to General Tech Discussion. Carry on.

From MST3K's spoof of "Hercules Unchained"--heard as Roman medic soldiers carry off an unconscious Greek Hercules on a 1950's Army green canvas stretcher: "Hi, we're IX-I-I. Did somebody dial IX-I-I?"

Love it when they do that!

Combine it with an "update" from windows that literally kills your wireless connection, and you're in for a whole lotta fun!
