Shouldn't this be in the Telos Tourist Bureau?
This topic has been discussed at least 10,000 times in there.
Anyways, if I had to pick, I'd say Canderous due to his ability to be a one man army.
Seriously, he held my party down single handedly when my other members were knocked out.
He was especially helpful during the later part of Dxun (against all the sith).

Kreia. Hands down.
And don't misunderstand me. It has nothing to do with her being Traya or the endgame or anything like that.
Her manipulation and utter disregard for niceties, as well as her ability to see things as they truly are make her the most amazing TSL character.
Plus, she's blind. What brilliant irony.

Well...technically she can "see" through the force.
But still, I get where you're coming from.

I'd take Visas. The Miralukas just seem pretty cool, period, and she was no exception. She was my favorite party member to bring also. And she was hot, despite the whole blindfold thing.

I can see where you're coming from, but I just didn't feel Visas was developed enough to be the best character.
She was kind of like, yeah, I'm a Miraluka, I used to be Nihilus' apprentice, now I want you instead.
And if you're smart enough, she commits suicide for you.
The end.
I liked what was there, I just didn't think it was enough/important enough to warrant the title. Hopefully TSLRP will rectify this a bit.

Ahh... yes it is time for "Your favourite party member -thread Vol.961754"
Hmm... Good question, Kreia is clearly my favourite due to her well written character, but in coolness factor Canderous gets my vote. Why? As *Don* already stated; Who doesn't like badass mandalorian one-man army a.k.a Canderous?

Kreia, for reasons already put down
Though Visas does have a certain.... something about her. That voice... *shudder*. yummy.
And Atton, for his wry comments and general 'me against the galaxy' attitude.

Yeah, I was pretty much thinking the same thing. The sad part is, this is where the developmental stage cuts take effect: on the party member's characters...Disciple *eyetwitch*

Yeah, Kreia is, above all, the coolest and most well-written character in this game. One quick way to check? All well-written characters that hold contraversal opinions are either dispised or woshiped by the fans. No middle option. And guess what? Kreia is held in that same regard.
Hmm... other than her: Canderous, because he is very awesome (considering he's not a jedi) and kinda realistic as a person, Atton, because Atton is as Atton as Atton will ever be, ( I will never let that one slide) and T3, for being the awsome, underappreciated little droid who really accomplished A LOT in the second game.

I would say Mandalore/Canderous, he had kick ass looking armor, he was a BAMF and a Mandalorian, what else can you ask for. I personally found Visisas to be really useless in terms of story after maybe the first 1 or 2 rep gains, considering she never had new lines

My feelings exactly.
As for me, Kreia. No explanation necessary. But I really like all of the party members. Some of them could have been developed more, but for the most part they were extremely well done.

I liked Bao-Dur the best, but Kreia was a great character too.

Atton was my man in TSL. We were totally a team. I had him in my party almost all the time, he was like Carth from KotOR 1 for me.
I really liked Bao-Dur too, I thought his story was cool.
and @ the OP:
Even though we wasn't really useful and I never used him in my party, I wouldn't call G0-T0 horrible. I loved his voice, it was a great example of good voice acting. I actually think it would've worked better if he wasn't a party member, because that sort of blew the flow his Goto's involvement with the plot. And the fact that he looked like an up-side-down version of the interrogation droid from ANH didn't help matters. There are some kickass unused droid models in TSL that would've made great G0-T0's, and I think it's frustrating that the devs weren't more creative with it.
Actually, their lack of creativity with appearances is apparent with other things too, like the Weequay's in the game that look just like they did in RotJ. AND the Ravager looking like a Star Destroyer... those are only two examples but there are more. I'm guessing it was just one branch of Obsidian that handled those, because not all of TSL's new appearances looked reused, but even so. KotOR beats TSL in that regard: everything looked considerbly different in KotOR compared to the movies.
But that's all an aside. Like I said, Atton is my pick, with Bao-Dur in close 2nd. I don't count Kreia on my list because for me it kind of goes without saying that she's wicked good.

Mandalore, and Kreia. I used Mandalore more often than I do Kreia, but I like Kreia's background. Mandalore is just awesome.

Bao-Dur is my favorite, but Kreia's a close second. Visas has quite a bit of development if you go lightside and let her 1) go into her meditation chamber on the Ravager, and 2) let her look at Nihilus' face after you kill him.

Ah, out of spite, then?
I like G0-T0 too. I think he was one of the most well-developed characters in the game. As a party member, he's pretty much useless, and probably should have just been a recurring character like Atris. But he's still very interesting--the genius who was told to save the galaxy and broke because of it. Plus there's the voice and his annoying personality...he's the guy you love to hate.

Ah, well that is interesting. He does have some interesting dilogue, but as you said, he is useless. Wouldn't you think that they would spend some more time on other characters then. GO-TO does have some wisdom in that shell of his. I think that his name should have been go-to.

He isn't entirely useless...he has some interesting special abilities against droids...but you face 99% of the droid enemies in the game before G0-T0 joins your party (on Peragus and Nar Shaddaa).
Oh, and he's a stealth and demolitions specialist...even though they aren't actual class skills for him. And if you have Mira, well, you're all set in those areas.
And yeah, his name is damn annoying to type. Oh, and apparently the party members start calling him "G0-T0" once the Exile figures out he's a droid (before it's "Goto"...unless I have it backwards ). Interesting...completely pointless, but interesting...

I think several characters were quite cool:
T3-M4: This little droid is really likeable in the sequel and is actually useful, when compared to the first game.
Atton Rand: Like Han Solo, cool and likeable.
Kreia: One of the most well-thought out characters ever made in a Star Wars game.
Handmaiden: A very good fighter.
Mira: A very good bounty hunter.
Also, for a cool Miraluka, I'd go for Jerec anyday. Visas is boring, for me.

I have to go with T3-M4. Pretty sure I could've soloed the whole game with him once I got past Nar Shaddaa.

I totally agree, atton was cool, but his past made him to "involved" with the politics of what was happening, while Han was always just a smuggler bad ass who considered the Imperials as just another thing he had to outrun.

There are a lot of characters I liked that I'd liked them to have done a bit more with (Ex: Atton pretty much disappears from the face of the plot after Telos except for his moment or two in the spotlight on Nar Shaddaa. Hell, he spends the whole of Dxun trapped in the cockpit. Disciple disappears from the face of the plot approximately thirty seconds after you get him except for one or two of the Ebon Hawk cutscenes, which are apparently very important to the Nihilus story thread.)
But Mandalore felt vaguely finished (escpecially if you do Dxun as your third planet, as then he has no "I'm just tagging along" time, plus he always seemed like he should be an "end game" NPC) because then he got to wrap up his little Mandalorian Crusade plot and kick ass on the Ravager. Give him an axe or two and he's the king of cool. T3 gets an honourary mention for electrocuting HK. If that isn't cool, nothing is.

Actually, I think Solo was a former Imperial that rescued Chewbacca, hence the life debt.

HK-47 is my favorite. Hands down. Although I really liked Canderous for the same reasons stated by others, Kreia was the best, most well thought out character of the game (even though, she was really annoying).

Mira, hands down. She is an all around good player. Good with blasters, not to mention she is the only one who can use wrist mounted rockets and darts. How cool is that? Plus she is not all uptight like some of the other party members and does not fawn over male exile like Brianna. She tells exile to get away, or she'll shoot him in the head and dump him out the airlock. She has an interesting background with the Mando Wars and whatnot.
That and her outfit . No funky hoods or bulky robes for Mira.

I love Mira's attitude/spirit first. I also love the fact that she can walk through a mine field unscathed. She is my favorite.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention the Point Guard feat which allows Mira to walk through mines unharmed. Yeah, you have to love her spirit. Some good voice acting too - kudos to Emily Berry.
True Kreia is the most developed. I would say she is the best character idea, as she is so much more complicated than the rest. She was well wriiten and voiced.
Still think Mira is the coolest though

Obviously Mira's the coolest.
Because it's just... obvious, like I mentioned above. >_>
But if she weren't it, I think it'd be Bao-Dur because he's cool and collected buuut still all 'grr' when it comes to certain subjects.
So yes, I just named my favourite characters, basically. But they are the cool ones in my opinion.

Yeh I liked Bao as well. Too bad most of his stuff was cut out or not completed. He had the potential to be so much better. Although, when it gets to the point that all you can say to him is never mind, it gets annoying. And he's a Zabrak...that get him some cool points, right there. Still...
Mira FTW!
