i'll probably pick it up on thanksgiving since i have to work that day, and it's also payday. (short shift, 2-6)

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

Spoilers ahead. Please don't read if you don't want to spoil your excitement for Fable 2.

I have played throughout Fable II, and I do have some positive and negative critic.
Let's start with the positive part. When I've pre-ordered Fable 2 and actually got it, I couldn't wait to play. So, I played. The "prologue", or let's say, childhood, is one hell of a nice beginning. Everything seemed to be alright.

Now, cast childhood aside, I began with my adolescent part. And then again, everything seemed alright. I was suprised, actually. The area seemed nice, which is in this case Bowerstone Lake. I didn't know the game mechanics would be so much better, compared to the previous Fable games. That is, if it comes to the spell selector, and certain other functions.

In the meantime, the quests were fun, but sometimes confusing. I didn't know how the controls were about, but I figured it out soon enough. Then, when entering Adulthood, I was even more suprised.
Literally everything until now was perfect, IMO. I think Lionhead has done his/her job very well.

Now, onto the clothing part. I really, and I mean really like the idea of having clothes without any armour/benefits. It makes all armour ingame unique, which is nice, unlike Fable I/TLC.
I didn't like the idea of having benefits when equipping armour, because, without any suprise, people would've equipped the same armour, no doubt.

Another nice idea of Lionhead are the Dyes. To be even more specific, the Dyes are the best idea made up by PM. You can, literally, customize every piece of clothing you have, with a few limited exceptions.
If it comes to the Spell selector, the bad part, is that I didn't like the mechanics of the Spell selector. It was way too confusing to me, back when I played it for the first time. Fortunately, I've already figured it out.

About the Characters. I like some characters in Fable 2. The one I love the most is Theresa. She is, as usual, very mysterious. And as you could notice; she does have her evil side. I believe she will be the possible protagonist in the next serie, or expansion. She said the spire would be her after all; who knows?

Another character I liked is Garth. I'm a huge Mage fan, and I will always be. His personality just fits mine, and I guess that's my reason for this statement. Now, the last character I would like to add is Hammer. She's maybe a person who talks a lot, but I wouldn't mind it at all. Reaver is the worst of 'em all, IMO.

In overall; Fable 2 is awesome. No wonder it was listed as Nr.1 in the Top 10 chart of October.

I expected Fable 2 to be so much more, but to me it feels like a buffed up version of the original with the exception that now you have a dog that doesn't poop. (thank goodness)

But it has its few good points:
-More choices
-better visuals
-Guns own

And I think thats about it

Well, i actually think the story in Fable1 was more intressing then the one in Fable2, but Fable2 is overall a better game. They improved all the things in Fable2

And i though Reaver was kind of gay first time you meet him, but later on he turned out to be a very intressing charather

spoiler:
He destroyed Oalvale just to stay young and keep sacrificing people to stay young, and then he tricks the hero into sacrificing his youth(If playing good). The showoff he had when leaving they cave was also pretty funny, and later he shoot Lucios during his evil end speach. He is evil, and you maybe don't like him, but calling him a bad characther just seems wrong to me

Reaver is an interesting character indeed, but his ego is way too big.

The highlight for me about Reaver is that he's voiced by Stephen Fry

QFT. The voice casting were brilliant choices, especially Theresa. I thought i was watching My Family when the fable 2 advert first game on.

My favourite part of the game was the maps. In F1/TLC i could walk everywhere blindfolded they were so linear, yet even now i still get lost in the wilderness maps.

If you view this as a sequel, in my opinion its good, but yet again overhyped. But if this was released as a standalone game it would have an even greater than impact than when Fable came out.

Jack of Blades is one of the worst villians/bosses ever, and don't even get me started on the Dragon in The Lost Chapters.

In what way was it bad ? Was it to easy, or hard or didn't you like the battlesystem ? Was pretty long since i last played Fable: TLC but i don't remember thinking that JoB was a bad bossfight

I’ve played the main quest through four times and then twice continued to play in order to complete some of the other quest including destroying all the Gargoyles twice, finding all the Silver Keys once and completing The Archaeologist once.

The only real bug I found is my wife left me for no good reason (well maybe she no longer found my farting and belching amusing). Even so on my last play through that bug did not show up. My PC married Alex (from the quest Till Death Do Us Part) early in the game and little Sparrow is still married to her and they have five children living in Fairfax Castle.

I read there was a bug concern with the quest to rescue your PC’s child, but I did that quest and found no bug. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied about the playability of the game, if there are a lot of bugs then they are hardly noticeable. I have more of a problem with the camera angles at times and the reward for finding all fifty Silver Keys (it is not worth the trouble).

The finding 50 silverkeys was deffinaly not worth it, other then to get the achivement if you like to get those

And yeah, i also have had problem with my wifes leaving me without a reason, so that may be a bug but it's rally not a big inpact on the game

my character ended up turning evil. too many damn hard choices in the game that make you go 'uh...i don't want to **** up my character over a npc i don't give a **** about'
spoiler:
*cough*girl making that god-awful annoying cry going through the cave to turn in the seal for reaver*cough*
lol umm. i beat the game, and that choice was a little hard, would've been a very tough choice if hannah didn't look like a sumo wrestler.

i decided to get my character married last night and make a baby and see wtf that part of the game is like.....well since i was an "evil" character, i decide to go up to the crib and do the 'evil laugh'.....best part of the game right there. XD

love how there's 40,000 lines of dialogue, always hearing something new...also love the way how dressing your character affects people's opinions of you, and how you present yourself and stuff....so many little things that at first glance, i didn't really take notice of until just fooling around.

Goddamit, Fable II. What's with the horse **** save system?

My game just froze about 24 hours in. No big deal, I thought. I'll just reload. Oh wait, the freeze corrupted the one and only save game we're allowed in Fable II! YAY. Screw you, Peter Molyneux. I'm done with your games.

Out of curiosity, does anyone else think that successfully flirting with people of both sexes at the same time should warrant an Achievement?

dude, that's not as bad as getting to one of the weapon bosses in ffvii, saving a split-second right before the battle...then losing...and loading to find that...the boss no longer exists, no way to proceed..

that's de-motivation!

Well, technically what I did was entirely deliberate. It was with my male character, but once I find a lesbian and a straight man in the same place, I'm going to try it again with my female character!

I'm beginning to think that Fable II is the realization of one of Peter Molyneux's hidden sexual fantasies. Just a hunch.

I think it specifies such on the last page of the manual.

So right before my game crashed I found my wife hanging down by the docks in Bloodstone. I just don't understand it. She said she was happy! *sobs*

Another thing, are there any bisexual NPC's? It seems a bit odd for the player to (potentially) be the only bisexual character in the game, considering how the people of Albion have no problem whatsoever with homosexuality.

Bit of a problem: I can't seem to get my wife to have sex with me, despite following the instructions in the manual exactly. And a few other questions: Is the character Alex (from the quest with the ghost) also available to female characters, since she's who I romanced on my male character? Would a condom still work if the character is in a lesbian relationship?

Have you tried using the seduce expression on her? Bear in mind she must be completely happy with you for it to work.

If you play as a girl, the quest is slightly different. You have to get the man the female ghost dumped to want to marry you, and he is also called Alex. If you choose not to dump him, you can marry him, but if you dump him he goes off and commits suicide.

I really don't know, but I can't see what use a condom would be.

No use for condoms in Lesbian relationships in the game. Its always "unprotected". As to if you can catch an STD I'm still not sure. I bed hopped around Westcliff like I'd swallowed a truckload of Viagra and tired all the womenfolk out as my Heroine to no avail, so it doesn't look like it so far. Still, I have a whole continent ahead of me before I can come to a proper conclusion.
