The Ebon Hawk
I was wondering, what if the Ebon Hawk was featured in the game? I'm not saying that it would be your own ship, that would be silly; You wouldn't want a million users all flying the Ebon Hawk around space. I think that the Ebon Hawk should be featured as part of a quest, almost how you had to go into the Harbinger and Goto's Yacht in KotOR II.

It would be better if the ship were lost somewhere, a mythical vessel said to be the harbinger of bad fortune, or something like that. Something that's rumoured to exist in game, and is sought out by every player in the game but is never really found.
I don't think actually including it in any way would be a good idea, or even canonically possible, given the timeline. If the Exile took it into unknown space and never returned, chances are the vessel never returned either.

Maybe as a easter egg, but not a ship that's actually flown.

it would be very very old by then, i like it too, but it seems highly unlikely.

After 300 years I doubt it would be in serviceable condition. The Millennium Falcon must be pushing 100 in the current post-Legacy of the Force era EU and it must surely be on its last legs. Besides, the Exile flew it off into the Unknown Regions. Coming back from there once (sans Revan) was kind of pushing it - for it to magically appear again 300 years later is a bit much. Although they've all but confirmed that HK-47 and T3-M4 are still around (unfortunately), so I can't say I would be overly surprised if it made a cameo.

I could see it coming back as a shiny hangar decoration in the Sith Emperor's ship. Kind of a trophy. That's about it. 300+ years on a ship that's been blown up and crashed several times... That's askin a lot.

I'm guessing it'll be HK-47's storage room, where he keeps all his "trophies". Look for it somewhere in a big, bad world.

All the ideas here are actually good. I would not want to see it as a derelict, though. This has already happened too many times.

You'd think so. But so should the characters who use it, and yet...well you probably know where things stand.

^Actually, in the EU, a lot of characters are starting to die of age. Most notably, Luke Skywalker.

Getting back on topic, it would probably be hidden in the game such as [in game] you're watching the news and the news reporter reports the sighting of a strange ship that looks familiar to the Ebon Hawk... heh heh heh, I love hidden stuff in games

Off topic: when does Luke Die?
On topic:I think it should be related to a quest.
Maybe the sith council have it ?

Yeah, and then on wednesday morning or some other day when only a handful people are online, you and a dozen other players can rescue the Hawk for yourselves and be happy forever. Until the next couple of hours, when the kiddos flood the server and start magically getting copies of the ship for themselves.

Could be part of the scenery. As a crashed ship, torn apart, where rakghouls now make their nest. And a sign that says:
"Here was born and here passed away the Ebon Hawk: 4,000BBY - 3,900BBY".
Or something...

Surely there will be some reference of the Ebon Hawk.
Now Weiser_Cain, why wouldnt you want it in K2?

QFT
I too have had more than enough of it. And it seemed clear that it was only used for the reason True Avery pointed out. There was potential for a decent story linking it to Revan and following him, but it seemed strained and under-used to me...
It was disappointing having the same ship twice - the nostalgia from KotOR faded just after the T3 prologue mission. And after the pounding it took in TSL, it would be really lazy-seeming to have it appear as anything more than an 'Easter-egg.'

I liked having the Ebon Hawk in KOTOR 2, but I agree that it has no place in TOR whatsoever.

Side Note: They wouldn't have the BBY to assign to dates.
I think they should have it as a crash site or something, make it not very recognizable as the Ebon Hawk, in a sith junkyard. Nothing tying it to the story, just scenery.

Perhaps the Ebon Hawk could now be piloted and maintained by HK-47 or T3.

How 'bout we leave out the Ebon Hawk out of TOR. Save it for Kotor 3.

Problem is there will never be a KOTOR 3. This is supposed to be like a 3,4,5, ext. as some have said.
If they do feature it, I think that it would be great to have it as a trophy on board a Sith ship. It might actually make sense that way.

hehe considering the fates of everyone that's owned the blasted thing, I wouldn't want to have that ship as my own.
Definitely would make sense as a sith trophy. Have it busted and mangled with signs of severe use and abuse.

The Ebon Hawk was a great, tiny ship that could. It's time has past, let it die. I'd be more in favor of seeing descendants of the Ebon Hawk in the game.

Its done, dusted and buried ... or eroded to nothingness ... whichever one.
It shouldn't be in the MMO.
Now THAT would be a pathetic attempt in linking the game with K1 and K2.

I think it may make an appearance, but only a slight one (a wreckage for example), to pay homage to the earlier games.

Hah, I would love for it to be on a derelict planet, crashed and in ruins, but still recognizable. Maybe a really strong enemy could spawn there like a cameo or easter egg. Then you get some useless item for defeating the enemy.
Think of yourselves as a hand. Each of you is a finger, and without the others you're useless. Alone, a finger can't grasp, or control, or form a fist. You are nothing on your own, and everything together.

Lmao where are you getting this information?! I've read many articles stating that this is NOT a sequel to KOTOR 2. It is merely a game taking place in the same universe. Hence the title The Old Republic and not Knights of the Old Republic.
