Movie: The Dark Knight, obviously.

Album(s): Watershed by Opeth, A History of Violence by Jedi Mind Tricks and Appeal to Reason by Rise Against.

Game(s): GTA IV and Wrath of the Lich King (technically an expansion pack though.)

TV Show: There are no good tv shows anymore.

Book: Lucky Man

I'm too lazy to look up pictures for these. >_>

Movie: This one is a tough one for me. There were so many. Dark Knight was ****in' awesome. So was Wall-E, Pineapple Express, etc. But, I think In Bruges takes the cake.

Album: Either Indestructible by Disturbed or Appeal To Reason by Rise Against.

Game: Gears of War 2 without a doubt.

TV Show: Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. It's really about the only show I watch.

Book: Haven't really read any books so far this year.

Movie: This is a tough one . . . It's between Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and Wall-E, but I actually think The Curious Case of Benjamin Button will take the cake when its released. For now I think I'll go with Dark Knight.

Album: međ suđ í eyrum viđ spilum endalaust By: Sigur Ros

Hands down.

Game: Fallout 3 . . . though I haven't been able to play much. GTA4 I probably enjoyed more, but I don't actually own that. I'm hoping the award will go to Prince of Persia next week.

T.V. Show: While Season 4 of LOST was friggin amazing, the winner (simply for how surprised I was by how awesome it was) goes to:

F*CK YEAH!!!

Movie: I really liked both the Dark Knight and Wall-E. Also thought Kung Fu Panda was great.

Album: Probably Nine Heavens by Niyaz.

Game: I've really enjoyed Left 4 Dead, even though it hasn't been out that long.

TV show: I recently watched Life on Hulu, that's a fun show.

Book: Notes from Underground by Dostoyevski, and Fear and Trembling by Kierkegaard.

Movie: Wall-E (obviously)

Second place: The Dark Knight

Album: Coldplay - Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends

Second place: Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple

Game: Left 4 Dead

Second place: Rock Band 2

TV Show: Scrubs

I started watching it this year, and I finished all of the current seasons.
Second Place: Chuck. Still awesome.

Book: I haven't really read any books from 2008, but of the books I did read: Warriors Don't Cry

Amazing book.

Movie: Edit - **** Wall-e, I haven't even bothered to watch it a second time on DVD, this takes first place!

YEAH!

Album: Immortalizer by Valient Thorr

Full of fast rock pure goodness. A song with sweet assed dual acoustic guitars, a song about wrestling moves, and a song called "Tackle the Walrus"... and that's literal, 'nuff said. Also, "Red Flag" has the purest, awesomest guitar intro evar.

Game: Rock Band 2

Take a wild guess as to why.

TV Show: Uhmm... I guess Mythbusters and P&T had a good season, meh.

Book: Well, I have to admit that I haven't finished a book in a good long time... but I've got plenty on a queve. Bought it this year, pretty thick book, about half way though it ATM.

I did finish this, though...

Mostly pretty picture, though...

Movie: Wall-E, since I really havn't seen anything else this year.

Album: Hmmmm, gonna have to go with Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple. It's the only CD that's come out this year that I regularly listen to.

Runner Up - Metallica - Death Magnetic

Game - Rock Band 2 by far. I don't think even WoW has kept me this entertained.

Runner Up - Wrath of the Lich King

Book - LOL BOOKS. The only thing I've read this year was The Amory Wars comics. The entire story of Coheed And Cambrias first cd Second Stage Turbine Blade to be exact.

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

Movie: A movie that actually lived up and beyond the hype. I still can't get over how cool it is.

Album: Pretty stagnant year for music compared to last year. Sure the new NIN was cool and all, but Hanzel Und Gretyl get my vote this year.

Game: . Honorable nod to Rock Band 2.

TV Show:

Book: Meh, I don't have much time to read books. I did look at this one a lot earlier this year.

Lost is coming back in 2009. Season 4, which was absolutely fantastic, was in 2008.

Movie: Considering the only movie I saw in 2008 was Dark Knight, let's go with The Dark Knight (Even though this may edit, although I doubt it, cause I'm seeing The Spirit Friday.)
Album: Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends by Coldplay
