new question: how many packs/cups of your noodle of choice do you have in one sitting?

I usually have two packs of indomie mi goreng in one go, though someday i think ill try three and maybe four... i dont think i can take more than four at once!

Just one packet of Top Ramen is normally good for me, with a sandwich or something else, because those things have *literally* no nutritional value to them.

Just the one - either by itself for lunch or whatever or as the side with dinner. Two packets of the Bachelors things would just be...a LOT of noodles!

Y'know, I've cooked up my own udon bowls. It isn't too hard to do or too bad if you get the right stuff, heck, even a fridge cleanout of leftovers works.

Mushrooms, garlic, carrots, spinach, celery,

some flavored broth or bouillon cubes,

either scallops, chicken, turkey, tri tip, or other meat...though I have not tried any kind of pork innit...

Yeah, that works well.

As far as sustenance, I would not come to rely on it too much. I try to figure in advance what kind of activity and how much, I will have for that day. Less qty and less calories is better for less active days. Would it hurt to go to trader joes every so often?

We'll murder them all, amid laughter and merriment...except for the few we take home to experiment!

My personal favorite is IndoMie's Instant Mi Goreng.
Oh yeah, that's the ticket. Don't even have to cook it, just pop in some boiling water to two packets in a bowl and wait, drain and then add the five, count 'em five flavour sachets of oil and chilli and seasoning powder and dried onion and honey soy.

Now this is important. You then take one tin of smoked oysters in barbeque sauce, pick them out of the barbeque sauce and toss those in. Alternatively you can use drained champignions.

Yum. Best student hostel food ever.

Later, when you actually have a kitchen and some cooking utensils, making your own proper pastas with mustard/creme sauce and smoked chicken pieces, fresh sliced mushrooms, a couple of shaves of MerseyValley extra crumbly cheese with pickled onion pieces, plus a sprinkle of fresh grated parmesan, topped with some spring onions and another sprinkle of fresh grated parmesan...omg now I'm going to go cook lunch
