I got almost 12 hours as well. After a long sleep like that I always feel good and alert, though.

Well... after too much sleep it always takes me a long time to wake back up again.

I'll feel GREAT later today, though.

I'm surprised I slept as well as I did, however: The heat and humidity are starting to settle in, and I usually don't sleep that well under those conditions.

I guess I was tired enough last night that nothing (except a brief passing thunderstorm that woke me up around 2) was going to interfere with catching up on rest.

Air conditioners will probably go in tomorrow, however.

Can we keep the anti-religious comments off these forums? A discussion is pointless when you use Nazi's as a comparison.

Some of us have found great benifit from Religion, and some of us (including me) was never brainwashed as a kid but came to his faith a little over 10 years ago ON MY OWN. But the idea of teaching kids religion is the idea if they can love thier parents, why cannot they love God also?

Btw, I strongly suggest if you want to add to this we go to E-mails

On another happy note, met-up with a Lady that I was matched on eHarmony. She seems rather boring at first. Donno, might do something with her and see if I can get her out of her shell.

it's all about the pacing

with that said, yeah, I still believe in Karma

Thanks for nice wishes, edlib. What a discussion you have here, guys. I am religious, Rogue 15, one of those most close-minded people on the planet Does it make sense? I think religious or not does not matter so much, strangely enough, even looking from a religious perspective, what does matter is how good you are or how human, how civilized, how educated you are? It's always good to take a time and think over these questions.

Running went easier to day. Less pain, less "break laps". 4/5 laps were actively jogging. Working my way up to a continuous mile.

My body is starting to remember how to run and breathe again.

after hearing this stupid 'use somebody' by kings of leon song ten trillion times in a row, figure i'd **** with it.

I've been roaming around
i was looking down at all i see
painting targets, building places i can't reach

you know that i could kill somebody
you know that i could kill somebody
someone like you

and all you know
and how you lie
countless fools undercover of the street

you know that i could kill somebody
you know that i could kill somebody
someone like you

off in the night,
why'd you live it up?
-i'm off to sleep
waging war
to shake the cold(?)
---?

i hope it's going to make you nervous
i hope it's going to make you nervous
someone like me
someone like me
someone like me

somebody

(i'm waiting)

someone like you
somebody
someone like you
somebody
someone like you
somebody

i've been running around
i was looking down at all i see

Put my AC units in today. Didn't need them... but probably will next week starting tomorrow or Tues.

Went over a buddy's house for a cookout. Then went and saw Transformers 2 in IMAX.

Pretty ridiculous.

THings looking good with the ladies!

Kara - Last I heard she was sick... no idea

K1- Met her Saturday for Tea. Seemed kinda boring most exciting thing she did this year was look at 40 Condos. Probably not going ot work out

K2- Going to see her in LaCrosse Saturday, and spend the night up there.

E- Found out we go to the Same church Synod. Going to have dinner with her meeting her halfway on Friday.

Co-worker is going to great America Sunday, and invited me along. Which means going from LaCrosse to Gurnee, IL which is a 4 1/2 hour drive... no idea if I am going or not.

The one nice thing about living in a small state: It rarely takes more than an hour (at highway speeds w/ little traffic that is...) to get ANYWHERE in Massachusetts.

More than an hour of driving, and generally you find yourself in another state.

unless you are near the airport, then the hour of driving means you moved 15 feet......

Well... I did say "no traffic"...

(I can often walk faster than it takes to drive in and out of the city... which is why 90% of my commutes are by subway.)

But on one of the major freeways on a clear day... except for maybe the tip of the Cape or Springfield, everywhere is about an hour or less away.

A 4 1/2 hour drive like Kinnison described could put you a good distance into almost any state in the Northeast from here... or Canada if you drive due North.

only time I've been there with little traffic was at midnight LD

yeah well, we call your piddly east coast states 'big counties' round these parts, save for PA probably.

You can drive 5 hours south from chicago and still technically be in IL

i wouldn't even attempt to drive in traffic like that. In those situations, I'm better off walking or taking a cab.

not really an option when your starting point and/or destination are hours away from the city in question

I bowled in a tournament last weekend, only my second tournament since my return to the game. I missed the cut, but only by 22 pins, which was a lot better than I did in my debut in the tournament last August, so I must say that I'm encouraged.
