I have the SWBoPC version of KotOR,and i can't open up the swkotor.ini file. where is it and howdo i enable cheats?

Ok, first go to COmputer in Explorer. Then C:Program Files. There should be a file called LucasArts in there. If you can't find it, keep scrolling. In LucasArts there'll be a folder called Knights Of The Old Republic, go in there. Now scroll down past the folders to the bottom and look around that area for a file named KOTOR with a notepad in front of it, or a notepad with a gear. (It will be an .ini file) finally, open that file and look for Game Options in bold letters. click on the end of that and hit "enter" then DIRECTLY BELOW the game options text, type "EnableCheats=1" exactly like that except without the "" if you need a list of cheats check out lordmcguffin.tripod.com and look under cheats. hope I helped

OK, so i have the cheats enabled, but none of the ones people gave me work... and also, what do you do for the giveitem cheat? do you type the name of the weapon or what? i always get a nulnade...

Refer to this page for a list of cheat codes. For the giveitem cheat, enter the name of the item. For a blue lightsaber, for example, you enter "giveitem g_w_lghtsbr01". If you don't want to memorize a list of item names, use KSE instead to add items to your inventory.

Also, don't create multiple threads all discussing the same or similar topics. The moderators frown upon this. Simply continue the discussion within the same thread if it is relevant.

thanks... and my sister actualy thought it would be funny to post all my questions on different threads... left my profile logged on. and i wanted to know the cheats so i did'nt have to get off and get back on.... thanks again!
