So any one still play RS?
Besides me..... My kid went to a friends house who was playing SW battle front and knowing how I am a SW stud he asked me if he could play one of my SW games. We started off with JK but it was a little scary for him so we loaded up RS and away he went. He has done pretty well and beaten most lvls. Not any medals though. Just finishing a level and moving on. I had to help him beat a few so he could advance. I had forgot how cool of a game this was, 8? years ago.....
We are on the Y-wing lvl after the contruction yards. Forgot the name...
Any ways, any one else still fly?

I have the disk, but it's not currently installed on my machine.
One of these days I'll probably fire it up again.
Maybe after I replace my C: Drive that's showing signs of failing (hopefully this week...) I have a 120 gig drive waiting to go in. More than enough room to load up all my Lucasarts library.
I still occasionally give Rogue Leader a go on the GC once in a while... but usually get frustrated by how terrible I am at it these days.

Right now he is on the Talloran lvl. Niether him nor I can get past it. I can remember getting gold on every level yet now a few Silvers are all I can muster. My reflexes must be getting bad with age....

that level...is one of the hardest to get gold on. Fest is my favorite level.
Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

well we passed all the levels.. Got silver on most all of them and about 6 golds.
Fest is cool but yeah it's hard to save all the at-pts. Had a hell of a time with Moff Searon.
Then got a gold on the beggars canyon level and my kid got us a silver on the death start trench.
What do we have to do to unlock the hoth level? Get gold on the DS? I don't remember any more...

my dog ate my rogue squadron cd.
I have thought about it for a long time, and decided that has to be what happened to it.

I have about 7 more golds we need, all the hard ones...
Construction yards, fest, seardon, taloran, chandrilla, kessel and the volcano one with the Y-wing.... and maybe one more.....
Maybe I should just find the cheats....

What are you playing RS on?? If it is XP, what is your secret? Or do you have an old Windows 98 gaming PC?

I'm playing it on a XP Pro system. It runs great. But sometimes after a mission it will dump on us and we need to restart it.

r15's math skills are a bit off I guess. Was wondering why this thread suddenly popped up. Not even sure where my RS game is anyways. Never played much of the 2nd one, since I've never one a gamecube. Did they make a 3rd?

*lurk*
Damn. I miss Aresen... This forum was so full of life 6 years ago....
heh. Well... I stopped playing RS... I can't seem to find it anywhere... But I did find the second one for gamecube... which I sold like 2 years ago. I am looking to buy Rogue Squadron again... I wonder if ebay would have it?
Aresen shall never die. I wonder, is the rebel stike any good?
If anybody has played it.... let me know....

I don't play anymore, either. My copy of Rogue Squadron has been gathering dust ever since I packed away my N64.

I still have the game for PC and it's still installed. Graphics aren't bad if you turn them all the way up. I wish it played multi-player though. I think it's a great pre-curser to the space modes in Battlefront 2 and StarFighter. In fact if you have Starfighter installed on your computer, Rogue Squadron will add the Naboo Starfighter to the missions. Great missions and nice graphics.
