The mod will be released when its done, All of us are pretty busy at the moment with issues pertaining to personal lives and to clear the confusion for you, there are only a few(2-3) that I'm aware of that are active on this project.

It seems as if this is turning into the TSLRP, judging by that post.

Turning into? TSLRP was speed demon up until two years ago. This mod has progressed slowly since day one because the modders working on it have lives.
