Script: Store a player's entire inventory (TSL)

My question is this: similar to what happened when your PC was taken prisoner on Telos, what is an outline for a script I could write that takes every item from the player's inventory (or a select number of items) and stows it away in one or more storage containers? I would not like to be force-fed the script (no pun intended), but I would just like an outline for what I could do, maybe even some methods/functions I could use. Thanks!
