fighting the dinosaurus enemy in JK

In dark forces I could own these dinos with my bar hands and hit & run strategy

but I just come across one in Jedi Knight (at Level 8) and he owns me HARD with 2 hits, I can't even hit it without a counterstrike

How can I defeat this monstrosity in JK?

What are they called? Do you mean that kell dragon?

I guess that you really can't kill them easily. In the original, you had to beat one for you to win the level, but in JK, they made them really tough because you don't have to beat them in order to win. I know that they really have a bite in the second game, and they even are harder to kill, but that's just how hard they are to kill in the second game.

I never really fairly won JK because it was like impossible, so I just cheated all the way through.

yes they're kell dragon, and yes they're hard as hell, I'm glad i won't have to kill one thro the game

Well you will come across at least two others later in the game, but you can use Force-persuade to get around them entirely. Or you can sit back and use Force-lightning if you go darkside.

That game really is hard when all the hostiles are so difficult to beat.

Yeah, the Kell dragons are a lot stronger in JK than they were in Dark Forces. Fists alone just won't do it this time. Try a lightsaber.

The Rancor in MOTS is tougher, but at least they're a bigger, slower target.
