old xwing collectors cd install

Greetings and help!

New here and just purchased an old xwing collectors cd-i used to play long ago but on an much older pc.
anyhow-im running a dell inspiron 530 w/win xp and getting an EMS error message on install....
is there a relatively easy fix? I believe i can access command prompt by
running CMD(?) to free up EMS or should I not go that route...Thanks all for any help!

Try running the install through DOSBox (which I mentioned in the other thread you replied to). The VDMSound launchpad may be found on wareseeker.com

I usually refer users here to this thread on the forums on TheForce.net when they run into problems running games under DOS emulation. Either the answer is there, or you can ask a question there for further help.
