'Bout time Alderaan got some exposure. Glad to see it's going into the game.

You would prefer a different target? A military target?
Personally I'm glad they FINALLY got this planet some love.

Damn! Of all the other planets, I wish they had added Alderaan in the old Kotor games. That would have been the right time too.

God I love that snow, this game is looking 100x better than WoW even with the supposedly WoW-like cartoony style.

Yes!!! I love Alderaan, this has partially made up for their class flop.
Love the concept art btw.

This should be good. After catching just a glimpse of it at the end of Episode III, I've always wanted to see more.

Yea, that's awesome!
Though I bet everyone on the bloody planet will be saying the war that's going on is the worst thing that could ever happen to their planet.
I beg to differ.

yeah...kinda an odd backstory. Warring houses and such. I'd figured Alderaan for a peaceful planet so it's gonna be a little odd, but I think it'll be awesome fun to see the planet. Hopefully the integrate the some of the EU details about Alderaan and some of the earlier concept art.
Like the rounded dwellings in the concept art has been more of a theme than the big gothic city they showed in a screenshot. That's just me being a nitpick.
This was a healthy surprise after the recent telegraphed showing of the intelligence agent.

The backstory does fit some of the narrative in Taris' subplot in KotOR I, if memory serves me right, particularly. So, at least there is some canon consistency with a feuding bourgeoisie.

^I think I'm missing what you're saying: in K1 Taris was an occupied planet, but Alderaan is going to be in a civil war. Also, it sounds more like a feuding aristocracy.
Let's kill ourselves.

Plus there's already rumors that Taris will show up in TOR too, what with an in-game screenshot referring to reconstruction on Taris.

I was referring to the mention of political tension in Alderaan in one of the bounty hunter quests within... Selven, I believe.
