Been thinking about shaving off my mustache

Kathleen has finally said she doesn't like it. it has been interfering with a lot of things we do together.

I probably will do it just to surprise her. I can always grow it back

Snow... you have betrayed me.

The one day I actually wish for it to arrive, it inevitably fails to amount to anything. I'm at work... and just tickled pink to be here, too.

Somebody asked me at one point how much fun I was having with this show. The phrase "Not quite as much fun as giving birth through my nostril..." may have slipped from my lips.

10 bands. None of them alike. All of them large, loud, and obnoxious. And with diva attitudes from practically every player on stage... who don't seem to realize that they are sharing with almost 100 other players over the course of the night.

Have I said that I hate this show? Yes. Yes, I'm sure I have... since it's an annual event, and it has failed to improve in any way over the years.

Find my posts from this time over the last few years, and I'm sure you will be treated to the same level of loathing.

I'm not mixing tonight... just stage managing (which is it's own particular brand of nightmare headache...) So I'm going to use the weather as an excuse to bail the second the last band actually hits the stage.

Sounds like you had what I have, R15. Though the way you went about it, I have to wonder if, for me, the cure is worse than the disease.

Yeah... remember my winter a couple of years ago? Well... welcome to it!

Oh, and 15... that's a bad one. You are like the 4th person I've heard of who got that infection. M. got it on her work PC.

Good luck. I hear removing it can be a bitch.

Had a great game of curling. Scored 2 in the 7th end to be up 1 in the last end. and forced opponent to make crazy shot to just tie it up. But they missed a draw with their last rock to give us the win.

Fortunately when I tried to leave the curling club someone mistakenly took my jacket. Which had my keys in it. keys to my car. Had to call my parents to get my spare, and I find out the locks are frozen (I normally use the "keyless" lock remote.)

Which royally sucks now because my Keycard for work was in my car. And i was planning on using my car to go visit my Girlfriend tomorrow evening

Half of not being hungover is making sure you don't get dehydrated.

Got my Coat back. Guy left a message on my phone when I got off of work at 10:30am. I was nice enough to bring him his jacket that he left at the club. I could have been mad, but that wouldn't have served any purpose but to make him feel worse

Something similar happened to me at college once... only the other guy walked off with my Les Paul and I all had was his cheap, crappy beat-up Strat.

I was not happy about it... though to be fair: He was a friend of mine, and our gig bags were exactly identical.

The Gibson weighs at least 5 pounds more, however. How he didn't manage to notice that on his trip all the way across town on his way to his rehearsal space, I'll never figure out.

Forgot to mention that my league got postponed this week due to a big snowstorm (or was it a big snowstorm that we thought was coming, but never really materialized?). Just as well, though...you know what my condition's been most of the week.

i have work today...9-5. i like opening though so hopefully it's a good day and they dont need people to cashier cause of their ****ing 'score card' bull ****. but if i get drafted for front end register...i'll make the most of it. im getting good at running, so hoping i can pass apft by spring time and ship to basic by september.

Got home early yesterday, and went straight back to bed.

Played a lot of Forza when I got back up.

Slept late again this morning.

Annnd... Played a lot of Forza when I got back up.

Did some shopping at the wholesale club this afternoon. Bought a ton of ****.

Saw a Nissan GT-R in the parking lot while I was there. Nice car. My favorite car in the game. I was pretty damn jealous of the goofy-looking chump driving the thing. Damn rich schmuck...

Taking M. out to dinner right now. She's fighting a pretty bad cold, so I think it will be an early night... but I want to make sure she gets some nutrition into her. Some nice, hot Pho soup... hopefully make her feel better.

She wants to discuss technical concerns for the play she's producing as well. Kill 2 birds with one dinner, I guess.

Dad's 80th birthday. Wow! Edlib Sr. made it to four-score years. Mom's 80th in 3 days, too...

Let's hope I can make that far...

Also: Valentine's Day. Hmmm... not as a miserable holiday as some I've had. Had a nice dinner with a lovely (though still unfortunately ailing... ) lady. Nice.

Dropped her off right after eating, though. It would have been nice to make more of the night,.. especially since it's also Chinese New Years, and a lot of her friends are throwing various parties and events... but she just wasn't up to going out.

Seeing her again tomorrow, however.

lol

went to the gym this morning....ran 2 miles at 7mph pace. not too bad i think, considering my chest is all congested. hopefully i'll be at 8mph by the beginning of march. Then I'll have to focus more on pushups and situps. one nice thing about the treadmill is being forced to keeping a constant pace. once i'm able to run 8mph without getting a heart attack, i'll switch between weight lifting and running so i can lose more weight. keeping a constant 200lbs is weird. i don't eat alot anymore either and i have been watching what i eat. (healthy choice meals FTW in that department...)

Dunno.

She's made it clear (to me, as well as others...) on more than one occasion that she currently has interest in dating anyone... so it doesn't seem like I have anywhere to go from there unless she ever decides to change her mind.

And right now, she's talking about trying to save up enough to go back to Japan later in the year... perhaps forever.

Doesn't bode well for any long-term plans or serious relationship efforts.

Whatever... in most ways, we already are a couple. She told me the other night that she had loads of offers (from other guys) to go out on Valentines day... but she had dinner with me. So whatever that means...

But even if it never goes anywhere: I'm spending most of my free time out-of-the-house, lavishing attention (and, truth be told, the occasional money...) on an attractive woman... something I haven't done in a long, long time... and I've been doing far more of it now than I ever have before in my entire life... even if you add all the rest of it up.

So if nothing else: it's good practice for when I do meet someone else who does want to step it up to the next level. Relating one-on-one with a mature woman a couple of times a week certainly can't hurt me in the long run...

The last female I ever spent more than a couple of times with alone was back around the end of high school. Not quite the same...

But, she canceled tonight on me just as I was heading out. The place we were going to look at as a potential site for her production was closed on account of the holiday... and the other stuff she was doing really wouldn't involve me enough to justify dragging myself into the city for and sitting around bored for a couple of hours waiting for her to get through.
