Hardly call that Sidious overcoming Yoda, Yoda did fall and lost his saber, I can't describe that as pwnage over Yoda

^Yeah but it was Sidious who forced him over the edge which caused him to fall and loose his lightsaber.

Yoda underestimated him, true. If yoda wasn't knocked off the edge I think sidious would be dead.

Actually it was Yoda's Force attack that made both of them get knocked off after Yoda had lost his lightsaber IIRC, Yoda just wasn't able to grab on and Sidious did.

Yoda's involvement in the game will probably be great...it's a marketing gimmick...and it's working. I am not at all opposed to him being in the game. I think he will train Starkiller in the beginning of the game. Maybe they will even do a prequel mission like at the beggining of TFU 1, but you will play as Yoda...OMFG that would be awesome!!!

I do agree with most people on here, having Yoda in the trailer denotes that he will be a part of the game in some form or another. What form exactly remains to be seen.

As for the voice actor I thought it sounded good. If they need to recast the voice actor why not use the apprentice himself Sam Witwer because he also does an awesome Emperor and Yoda voice, all those voices and one actor, could be both cost effective and a huge time saver overall. Don't quote me on this but I think he did the voice of the emperor in the first game as well and I thought he was spot on, and I heard his Yoda voice in a skit he did for D20 Radio a while back. I thought that sounded pretty good too.

besides the kotor series, i dont think there is any NEW games (last 5 or 6 years) without yoda, i mean EVEN Republic Commando had yoda!

Has anybody checked out the Dagobah background on the official site recently?

They have Yoda's home glowing with light and you can see a lightsaber blue and red light flashes as if there is a duel going on behind the lights.

So that means there will probably be some vision of the future, similar to Luke's vision in ESB, of the final battle of the game. (If they end up taking the story - or possible lack thereof - there, that is.)
