[PC] Unable to level skills

I started playing Force Unleashed, Ultimate sith edition today.
I was using version 1.0, and it worked well, except for the lag, thus I updated to version 1.1 to lower the graphics settings.
However, now that I have updated, I'm no longer able to access the skills menu. it shows a short loading bar, then returns to the game.
I have started a new game, and still had the same error.
Please help me solve this issue

Since I don't have the PC version of the game, I don't know what the problem is, but I would recommend opening a ticket with Aspyr, the developers on the PC version, since it sounds like it is related to the recent patch. You can do this here: http://support.aspyr.com/index.php/contact
