Darth Cryptic's HK Droid items

With the release of the RCM, I felt I should get my HK-47 gear packaged up and out to you all. Most are pretty basic changes, but they do enhacne HK's kill ratios. No screen shots yet, I haven't gotten HK rebuilt since I reinstalled the game. Woo for computer issues. -eyeroll-

Darth Cryptic's HK-47's droid items version 1.3 for TSL
Author: Darth Cryptic
=-=-=-=

Query: What does this modification do?

Explanation: This mod installs several items, which will improve HK-47's efficiency rating in combat.

--

Query: how is this modification installed?

Explanation: Meatbag, you are required to open the zip file and extract the folder within to your desktop.
Continued Explanation: Next you copy the files within and past them to your TSL Override folder

Clarification: This modification makes use of the baseitems.2da file and does not include the TSLpatcher. If you already have a modified Basetiems.2da in your TSL Override folder, you must hand patch that one.

Patient explanation: If you are required to alter your baseitem.2da you need the Kotor tool.

Step by step explanation:
Step one; Open the Override folder's copy of Baseitems.2da with Kotor tool.
Step two; go to line 91 (Wrist_Launcher).
Step three; Scroll over until you see a column called "droidorhuman".
Step four; change the '0' to a '1' and save the file to your TSL Override folder.
Step five; There is no step five, you are done.

Query: How do I uninstall this modification?

Answer: You delete all the files save the "baseitems.2da", "itemcreate.2da", and "itemcreatemira.2da"
Warning: Be aware if you have installed a modification that alters any of the files used in the Droid Items pack you may loose the effects of the other modification. It is advised you reinstall the other modification after deletion.

--

Query: What does this modification include?

Proud statement: HK-47's new armaments and enhancements include;
- HK Self Sustaining module; Grants HK-47 automated repair
- Droid missile launcher; Allows HK-47 to fire all manner of rockets and darts
- Sith Shock arm; Allows HK-47 to launch a bolt of electricity like a wielder of Force Lightning

--

Query: Are cheats required?

Statement: No, they are not. All Items come with HK-47 when he is repaired, along with a selection of rockets and darts so that you may start annihilating your targets right away. HK-47's UTC has been altered so that he starts with the required feats to use all his new weaponry, as well as alters the createitems.2da to allow all party members to make rockets and darts, not just Mira.
Retraction: However, if you do require the cheats the codes are as followed;
"d_hk_ss.uti" - Droid Self Sustaining module
"d_sithshock.uti"- Sith Shock arm
"g_d_drdln.uti" - Droid missile launcher

--

Query; How compatible is this modification?

Statement: This modification is compatible with the following other modifications;
- ChAiNz.2da's Darksword
- ChAiNz.2da's Segan Wyndh Armor
- Electro's Droid Enhancement
- Khrizby's HK-47 Melee/Saber Mod

--

Statement: Darth Cryptic hopes you enjoy this modification.

Hey, those sound like some interesting items.

Will there be a pair of pistols in the next pack?

Btw, is this mod for TSL?

Yes, TSL only so far. And yes, other weapons are on the drawing board for 2.0.

Ah heck... There's an error in the Read me and maybe the baseitem file. The Droidorhuman should be a 0 not a 1.

I take it the items have to be cheated into the game? What does K2TemplateTags.bfd do? It looks like some sort of master list of items.

No cheats needed, they come in with HK. And I'm not real zure what the tags are, they show up when i open files with Ktool. Pretty sure you don't need them, they where just in the folder when I packaged it up.

Sith, I've been trying to make those, but haven't figured out how to do it yet.

Ok, new download link is up, new Read Me is up, and I'm 99% sure all the proper files are in, though i suspect I forgot a few mods that it is compatible with.
