Crash at Blue Casket and other places (year 2)

I installed the game without any errors. I passed year 1 without a single crash. How ever, in year two, after talking to the sea captain (and asking him about getting a ride on the cargo ship) I leave. In the circle courtyard if I take the left pathway I crash, as well as if I enter the Blue Casket. The elevator works fine and so do other places. (have not checked all of them however). I have used the patch as well as followed the sticky tutorial (where you copy the files from cd into folder) to no luck.

I tried multiple re installations as well. Any clue as to how to fix this?

EDIT: I passed the game a few years ago on windows XP as well so I know the cd should be fine.

You mention XP as if this is not your current OS. So I imagine you are on a later version of Windows now and probably a newer computer as well. Then do you get Jona's rar and unpack it into the game's directory? If you haven't, go to "For all of you people still having problems running the game" and get it.

No I am still running XP, simply new video card.

Which seems to be thee problem. When I turn 3d acceleration off, I am able to enter those location, but Manny disappears, however if it is on, I see him but can't enter.

I guess this is the price I pay for buying an ATI card. Can't even run Jedi academy(OpenGL errors) :/

Manny disappears with 3D acceleration off? You mean the game's 3D acceleration, right? Do the other characters disappear as well, or is it just Manny?
