Yes another swoop issues, come on its been 6 years.

So yes, I have the problem with the swoop bike getting stuck on the roof, on Telos. Probably everywhere else too.

Have the latest patch, does nothing. Tried all the work arounds, they do nothing.

I know the illegal 1.0c patch is suppose to fix it, but that has been banned from most places, not to mention it is incompatible with TSLRCM. I'd also prefer to fix only the swoop problem and ignore the rest of the effects of the patch.

So, is there a fix yet? I mean, 6 years and no one has come out with anything that solves this problem except the person who made 1.0c. And its a common problem. Apparently that person stole it from someone else, so maybe there is a stand alone by the original author somewhere, but I can't find it.

I would really like to do the swoop race. Any responses would be appreciated, but I remain cautiously optimistic, since the last 3 threads on this topic were completely ignored and fell into obscurity. And the latest thread with responses was over three years ago, and didn't provide any useful information beyond "reinstall the game" and that didn't work for the person either.

Heck, I wouldn't even care if I miss the race, I want those creds. a few extra thousand at the beginning of the game would be useful. So maybe if there is no solution could you at least tell me the amount of creds generated from each race, and I can cheat them in with KSE at the appropriate times in the game?

If you're just interested in the creds.. and don't mind some "tweaking" I have some links to Darth333's EZ and Medium swoop races mods. Still let's you play, just a bit easier

Cool, thx. But I wonder if it will still work when I'm super-glued to the ceiling. The readme says she widened the effect of the boosters, but I wonder if it increased vertically too. Ah well, wouldnt hurt to try. Doesn't seem to overwrite any TSLRCM files.

It's worth a shot since D3 adjusted the .lyt files so maybe it inadvertently fixes your issue

Just ran the course....and IT WORKED!
Still stuck on the ceiling, but the boosters now affect me! Good enough for me. Thx!

I also have the bug where my bike is way too high up in the air and keeps ending races with a forfeit. Are there any official or mod fixes for this yet?

I haven't yet since I don't know where to download it now that PCGM is dead. LancerChronics said that he's still stuck on the ceiling even with the mod though so I doubt it'll be any more help for me.

You could probably PM ChAiNz about how to get that particular mod. I'm sure he'd help you out, and it's worth a try if you want to be able to finish the swoop courses. I gave up swoop racing in TSL years ago because it's so broken. It's sad, really, because it would've been a huge improvement over KotOR1's swoop racing.
