To those having problems running JKDF2 or MoTS on windows XP run this.

i recently had a black squares problem with running DF2 in 3D acceleration and having to disable directdraw with dxdiag but this fixes the problem. As for MoTS i havent tried yet but i will get to it.


EDIT: nvm the cutscenes in JKDF2 are still bugged however the first cutscene was fixed which was strange...

That link points to something called Jedi Knight Alternate Installer. Since I didn't have any trouble getting the game installed, how is it supposed to help?

looks like the installer contains a modified direct draw dll which may help with the graphical issues.
