Since this is the most recent retail version of the game, is it worth getting? Does it work on Vista?

My original copy doesn't work on it, that's why I'm asking.

check out the technical part of the forum. the version you have is the same as this, but there is an official patch available, as well as some fanmade patches(including my own) if you go through the stickies. it should be possible to make it run on vista.

it might be patched to version 1.04, but that patch is freely available on the net, so apart from the packaging, no.
