How to install mods?

I don't know if theres already been a thread for this, but I was wondering how do you install mods into SWJA? Ive tried extracting the files to "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData" as Ive been told to do, but I see nothing when I start the game up? Please, be detailed!

wen u go into gamdata you go into base folder and install it in there it works for me

It depends on the type of mod, hence my question.

Indeed

Just run the mod from .bat file (if there is one in GameData)
Or just run the jamp.exe and go to the mods section (in-game) and load the mod from there.

Example for MBII, you can run the mod from GameData -> MB2 .bat file.
If theres not .bat file you have to go JA Menu -> Controls / Mods (If I remember?) and load the mod from
there.
