Well this whole trilogy arc was strange, but I think we did learn more about how the Force works. To bad for the characters it seems kind of throwaway...

I wished they would have included them. They could have been set on the brother’s shoulder and gave him advice.

Only problem didn't George forget that he made the redemption of Revan canon?

I don't think the Sith can become Force ghosts outside of the EU.

I think this is why it was eventually pulled.

Me neither, but partially because in my opinion a Sith shoudn't/can't have the ability to become Force Ghosts.

Also because:

Maybe for RotS they tried to "improve" Chewie's look like they did Yoda's in TPM, and with similar results?

But, yeah, TCW Chewie looks like Chewie. I wonder when Netflix will have this show available for streaming?

I assume it would be easier to animate a face similar to OT Chewie, than sew 115,000 separate horse hairs into a Mask and have it look like it then again why didn't they use the original mask when filming ROTS? I know its in good condition... anyway on topic

Considering they used it for a different Wookiee character in TPM with alterations, my guess would be that they were unable to undo the alterations and make it look like it did as Chewie's face. Or at least, that's the best I can come up with.

And in the case of TPM Yoda, was the original puppet available?

I read that LFL's creature Shop decided to make the new Yoda puppet in TPM out of a different, more translucent silicon material instead of foam latex the way they did in TESB. It was supposed to be a more realistic-looking skin. They made the new Yoda from the original Yoda mold apparently... The problem was it looked nothing like him lol.

That's right, that Wookiee senator was way more similar to Chewie than the one in RotS.

At this point, nobody can reasonably argue with Mr. Mayhew about how Chewbacca should be played. And, he added, “Nobody wants their arms pulled out, either.”
Gold. The entire interview is worth reading just to get to that line
