IIRC, the astrogation system is disabled in order to force you to go to Onderon. Recall Kreia tells Atton to delay the repairs until the Exile has finished her business. You actually want something to go against the plot?

He's asking how would you be able to always use the astrogation system, besides the fact that it doesn't make sense for just after the first time you trave to Onderon.

isn't duxn using a different module-file for the hawk? that's just a wild guess on my side, but afaik there are multiple modules for the hawk for different situations. so you'd have to edit that specific module-file.
or else it's some kind of script, I guess.
