@Christos: Just a thought, but why not just try HotOR for one playthrough? Then you can go back to USM, no questions asked. This, of course, would require you to uninstall the game and make do a fresh install with TSLRCM and HotOR. When I used to play TSL I never used to pile on mods, just some texture changes and then maybe Coruscsant Jedi Temple and Korriban Expansion, so keep that in mind.
No, HotOR does not force you to recruit Iacen Konn, but he is a super cool character, so - your loss.
And yes, GOTO is removed and returns on his own when Iacen Konn leaves.
If you want to try installing HotOR on top of USM, I wont be responsible. good luck

@Beta197: I dont know what you mean, Bao-Dur doesn't wear Jedi Robes in HotOR, but he will build his own armor.

I currently don't have my computer with TSL installed or I probably would do a fresh install with TSLRCM and HotOR. Maybe by the time I have my PC back, 1.8 will be released and then you plan on releasing 1.7 along with it, right?

Even though I do like USM as a whole, the two things I'd like to keep from that mod under HotOR (which I think I prefer) is the BA-122 Lightsaber you can build and the whole thing how they added all the new items into the spawn drop (which you may have done with your mod as well).
I probably will recruit Iacen Konn, once I get the chance at least, cause I hate G0T0 as well.

It's also good to know that Coruscsant Jedi Temple and Korriban Expansion are compatible.

Ah thats too bad. I'm sure you know how popular the mod has become, oh well hopefully any problems between 1.6 and 1.8 will be fixable on the user's side.

Are the Bao-Dur armors supposed to have Force Restrictions?

In HotOR 1.6 - Yes, they were Force Restrictive. I didn't change that until 1.7, which, as you know, was never finished.

I think I'd like to see what you and I were discussing over PM's awhile back. And though I didn't finish Iacen's story (due to a minor issue of me being stupid in my game, and RL taking over) I was really intrigued by it up to the point that I played so I really wouldn't want to see Iacen be cut.


The truly fallen cannot return to the light. If someone "falls" and "returns," they never really, truly fell.

Ok, just by looking through my 1.7 folder I have a much better idea of what needs to be done first..
1. All sabers will have absolutely no extra properties.
2. About a dozen or so dialog files have to be rebuilt.
3. Remove my 203TEL.mod (isn't that the one for the Citadel Station departures area?), and fix where V'wynn's saber is.
4. Get a vote on if my Citadel Station Medical Bay mod stays or goes...
5. Figure out why my NWmax green/black shortcut is missing. :P

As to whether or not you want to keep developing this mod is up to you, normally I wouldn't try to ask a modder to continue a mod if they were happy with the latest version they made but I knew that you planned 1.7 at one point anyways and now that I've played through the mod I like it quite a bit.

1. Personally, I thought most of the extra saber properties felt right for their characters. For example, Atton's Saber having Stealth properties.
4. I liked that mod, it brought some extra things to do to the somewhat boring Telos. And it rewards you too.

Ok, I've started work on a HotOR 1.7, but it is more and more looking like I'm going to drop both the Citadel Medical Bay mod and recruit Iacen Konn altogether.

Just wanted to let everyone know. Unless,....I hear *alot* of protesting against it.
My guess is no one gives a ****.
