snoll, yes we all want it. But the problem is most current gamers do not want complexity or "realism" when they are doing a flight sim. The just want to point the plane and blow lots of stuff up quickly and easily

Felt like a pretty good run today. A hilly five miles completed in 39:37. Still not close to my pre-injury layoff pace, but I'm getting there.

Got a smoker box for my grill. Cooked some Ahi sushi grade tuna with a soy/honey/wasabi marinade. Cooked it for about 15 minutes and then wrapped it in foil to finish. wasn't too bad and my cat had a wee bite and LOVED IT. My wife had some to and she doesn't like fish but she liked the tuna. Doubt we would have it again at $16/pound

still not arrested...got to go surprise my nephew and my friend's kid today with the costume. that was fun.

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

Spent most of Easter playing Batman with my nephew (he's got a costume and everything) and breaking some of Niner's records on the Arkham City challenges

I am really enjoying The Old Republic.

Been missing my ex alot. I don't foresee myself getting that emotionally attached to anyone ever again.

I spent Easter chillaxin' with GF and her kids. I was supposed to go with them down to the Cape to visit family... but we both ended up working pretty late Saturday night, and an early morning hour-plus drive and an all-day visit on the one day off that week really wasn't in the books for either of us... so we lounged around, watched Will Ferrel movies, and ate.

Oh... And I too love to shatter records set by Niner.

He really should check out the leaderboards on Forza 3 and Need For Speed: Shift one of these days...

39:05 on my five miles today. I could have run it faster, but I'm trying to be careful not to increase the speed too fast. Don't want any more injuries...

Puppies have figured out how to escape the yard.

No more letting them out until we have the time to seal up gaps in the fence.

I'd love to leash and walk them... but I don't have the time for that at the moment.

Aw, cute little sneaky puppies...

A girl I know at work just got a hedgehog. Which is kind of a weird pet, but they are pretty cute.

I'm still with you...

K_Kinnison, then why don't to write a detailed plan and offer it to Lucasarts? Even if they wouldn't start to do something immediately, then they would just understand what exactly Star Wars simulators gamers want!

I don't think they forgot those their success with X-wing and then Tie-fighter games with there's outstanding singles. In those days exactly their mistake with XvT and then XWA demanded them to stop with Star Wars starfighter simulations, but what about now? Maybe it would be better better just to remind them once again?

LukA_YJK, Hi there! Don't loose hope! Don't ever loose hope!

P.S. Just recieved The Essential Guide to Warfare... still can't figure it out what is it, epic win or epic fail...

Everything is useless?

P.S. Congrats about 12 April anyway. 51 year ago real Star Wars started.

whoa, managed to log on here just for the hell of it to find that I signed up for this message board 12 years ago to the day. Funny how much changes in twelve years. Back then I was a wiseass college kid and now I'm a wiseass for pay. Back then I was single and living in a dorm, now I'm married and a homeowner. Back then I had hair, now I still have hair, just not as much.

Heh... Happens to the best of us!

Welcome back! As you can no doubt probably see for yourself, not all that much has really changed around here...

Yesterday looked promising: I got late notification Thursday night that my morning shift on Friday was canceled. Sweet!

But after that, it all went down hill quickly, and all Hell broke loose, so to speak...

I'm glad it got canceled... I had a super ****ty day, overall.

I barely got sleep that night... Every time I dozed off, something happened to wake me up... About once an hour...

I got up yesterday morning to find that my front drivers-side suspension on my car had collapsed. I don't know when or how. I drove it home Thursday night and all seemed fine then.

My car repair shop can't take it until Monday.

Then I was driving home from my girlfriend's place to pick up my mom's car to get to work, when I got stopped by the cops. I was told I was going 29 in a 20 zone. At least it was only a warning this time...

Then mom wasn't even home, and I had to wait a couple of hours for her to get back.

By the time she finally did, I said **** it, and bailed on work.

Friday the 13th??? Hmm...

It's starting to make me a believer...

I stayed in the house from that point on... Doing laundry and playing Skyrim. Figured I might get into less trouble that way.

I have to be at work at 8am this morning though... That sucks. Although I should be through by 3 today...

Even worse, now that I have to use mom's car to get there.

And it looks like all the plans we had to head down the Cape this weekend after I got through with work today will have to be postponed, because my GF's car is also out of commission.

****ing depressed as ****. got in a fight with my ex which caused her to block me from fb, now i can barely get in touch with her, I'm sad cause my car is acting all lame and the place wanted $90 to just look at it which i thought was a ripoff cause i know what is wrong with it it just needs a distributor cap replaced, and i told them that before driving off. i got overdrafted cause paypal took a couple cents out of my account which had nothing in it, so im mad about that. also i broke the window to my car cause i locked keys in it the other day, so that really sucks.

and i got like 3 things for homework that's due...5 page research paper draft is due on monday, i've got to rewrite my current events paper for macroeconomics, and i have 12 problems from my algebra class to work on.

and of course i work all weekend, 5-10 today and 5-10 tomorrow, so limited time to get papers done especially if i want to print them out. mostly depressed cause i miss my ex way too much, it seems like a day does not go by without me constantly thinking about her. i should probably go to that relationship support group at my school but i'd probably end up crying my head off cause it really hurts to talk/think about it, and on top of that i'd probably be the oldest one going to it.

I just wish i could go back and change the past.

Man, I thought you didn't like her because she constantly judged you or whatever. I don't think you want to change the past as much as you want to change her.

Also, if you COULD change the past, wouldn't you tell yourself to buy some Microsoft stock or give yourself the winning lottery numbers? Then you'd be dating supermodels and stuff and still wouldn't be dating her.

made my decision for the summer.....im not going back to school. **** it, i can afford to live with the job i have and im not miserable there, plus i am applying for another job at a place my friend works at which pays pretty decent for friday-sunday 12 hour shifts. if i get that job, i can pay all my current monthly living expenses with 2 weeks pay and have some left over. military preference ftw i hope.

good for you, im close to just dropping. it's frustrating me to no end. thought algebra would've been easier than my "research paper" and it just made me decide to not do the homework due to the text book not explaining how to do the ****ing problems...i might look on youtube to figure out how the hell to do them, but i've just about had it with school.

The Boston marathoners aren't going to like the temps today...

Gotta get my car over to the shop, and get the bad news. I have the strong suspicion it isn't going to be cheap.

The GF and kids went to the Cape, but I stayed behind to take care of the car and a lot of other things. Chores around my place that have been waiting for months,.. if not years. A lot of laundry.

Played a whole bunch of Skyrim too...

stayed up until 2 playing TOR. so far it is awesome. i don't like that my friends are scattered across servers though, that is so damn annoying. and the one dude that is on all the time is republic, when i enjoy empire way more. republic trooper is alright but the missions get annoying so i get a ton of dark side points.
