I beat Mass Effect 2. Fun game, combat in it is repetitive though. Now I've got a few others to pick from as far as which one to beat next...

Fallout 3 Game of the Year
Fallout New Vegas
Mercenaries 2
Far Cry 2
Far Cry Instincts Predator
Lego Star Wars Complete Saga
Gears of War
Assassin's Creed
Oblivion
Dead Space
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Oblivion is a pain in the ass because, even though I'm the head mage, I am forced to collect a buncha rare plants because i accidentally hurt a guild member...and it ties into the main quest. I set the difficulty all the way to the left because I got tired of fighting off those damn wraiths. I ****ed the thief guild's final quest, one of the ****ing monks spotted me, and there's no way to reset the quest! lame.

Other games I do want to go back and beat again...

Splinter Cell Double Agent -complete as good story ending
Splinter Cell Conviction -complete as good story ending lol
Mass Effect 1 & 2 -complete as Paragon
The Force Unleashed II -complete dark side ending

I finally will have time to play these, since I'm off work for over a week this week, then next week I'm on spring break.

Projected post count based on posts @ midnight on Feb. 29: 1,632

I believe this is actually an improvement over the projection after January, so we had a good month.

Got sucked into playing epicmafia again. basically a javachat version of the party game mafia. What really suck is that since I am new I usually end up getting killed on the first day. I spend 10-15 minutes waiting for a game to start and then BAM.. im dead

As far as curling goes, the Park and Rec people put waaaay too much water on the ice for a flood in attempt to make the ice level and there was still standing water out on the ice. SInce they normally do hockey they have no idea the needs of curlers to have flat ice. Ended up having to reschedule draws to saturday, tho most people were rather upbeat about the changes

CUrling season is about to end so i bought my bottle of single malt scotch as a bookend

I know I'm way behind the times, but I just watched Firefly and Serenity. Good show, good movie. Too bad the show was cancelled...

I heard they were good... but I've never seen any of them.

My girlfriend got me Skyrim last night. There goes the next couple of months... years...

Also: I think I found one of those sites K_K was talking about. This one looks legit... but I've been reading some rulebooks I'm sure the copyright holders would be none-too-pleased about having up for free on the web.

But you can't download them... just read them. Which seems a bit better... maybe. Still murky legal territory... but seems slightly better than some super sketchy torrent site.

Playing Batman: Arkham City now. I feel kind of overwhelmed. I know I'm supposed to go somewhere, but a hundred different things distract me on the way there.

I could never play Skyrim. Way too free for me. I like more direction in my games.

Yeah... The open giant sandbox with a million different quests can make it a bit too hard to choose a specific direction.

I'm single now. It's a bright new day...lots of parties ahead. We're still friends, so that is cool, no regrets, maybe some bad decisions were made during the course of our relation****/dictatorship but it was all worth it.

Going to see John carter: warlord of mars (should have added or used the last 3 words in the title) this weekend. I am surprised they have showed pictures of Dejah Thoris topless (like in the books) yet.

Survived my week at work. Spent the last two days on a forklift re-learning how to use the damn thing. Had to tell my trainer to slow down since he was on the peaks and i was still in a valley.

Did he make you wax his collection of cars, which you thought was pointless labor, only later to realize it was actually teaching you how to master operating a forklift?

I'm working close to 40 hours in the next 3 days (12 - 14 hours a day today, tomorrow, and Sunday...)

And of course: I didn't sleep more than an hour in total last night. Oh goodie. Perfect timing for a bout of insomnia.

I figure I'll be deathly sick by Monday morning. At least Monday isn't a long day at work... though I probably will still have to get up early to do the trash.

Maybe it will get skipped this week...

When I was in college, the profs didn't care if you slept in class, as long as you weren't snoring or disturbing anyone. Why would they?

In high school I had a history teacher that was fine with kids sleeping in class as long as they stood up against the back wall to do it. Surprisingly one kid took him up on the offer. and did. Have to be really tired to do that.

As for my job.. no nothing as tedious as waxing. Just driving around in figure eights and stacking/restacking pallets

I echo the sentiment. Though I usually have to wake up at 6:00 AM the next Sunday, which sucks, and today I didn't have to be up at any particular time, so I can't complain too much this year.

parade day went pretty well. chilled with a couple of my buddies the whole day from 9am until 9pm. good time. off today...bored out of my mind. and broke til thursday...literally and seriously scavenging for food.

oh yes, and i am getting basic allowance for housing for going to college...pays more than what i pay for rent! so that is awesome!

i beat Fallout 3....good thing i still got a ton of quests to do and extra content from the disc...ending was weird, well liberty prime was pretty sweet. haha put fable II in and beat that for the sacrifice achievement. kinda bored playing video games all the time now...

I started texting a former coworker girl who recently got fired, it could eventually go somewhere if i make it happen, but since i'll be not around for a year or so starting in the fall, i don't know.

I do know that i'm getting back in touch with my old friends and so far it's been a good time!

had a good 2 mile run today! cut 32 seconds off of my last run time...which was 17:19 and now it's down to 16:47. i'm sure i can bring it down 47 more seconds for a nice 8 minute pace...

INITIATING DIRECTIVE #7395: DESTROY ALL COMMUNISTS!

Or the fact he throws nukes around like footballs

The operation Anchorage quests are actaully quite fun. None of the tediousness of having to repair stuff and the stealth suit you get from the quest is AWESOME

I have an unexpected day off due to a giant transformer explosion/ fire less than a block from the college. I was looking at my building on the news last night.

The power is expected to be off until later tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

Spring break may begin early if that's the case.

Sounds like things I've gone through...

Sorry to hear that, bud.

2nd day off due to no power at work. Not complaining... but it does make me realize just how dependent all my professional skills are on a fully intact power grid. Pretty much everything I know how to do of value relies on electrons flowing through copper... and without it, I'm more-or-less just dead weight on society.

Learn to play a harmonica... that is what I am doing.

If the SH** ever hits the fan I think I can do quite well, just living on the Mississippi with my kayak (thinking of buying a canoe) and bike. So much now relies on smart phones, computer, and electronics that I wonder how society can go to crap with just a well place EMP bomb

New keyboard! It's a Steel Series 6gv2 mechanical keyboard. It's so much better than the other keyboards I've used.

Of course, I'm still getting used to typing on it. Some of the keys are in not their normal spots (it IS a gaming keyboard, after all) and it takes slightly more force to hit some of the keys. Again, getting used to it.
