[TSL] Clothing Stat Mod Request
Hi, I looked around and couldn't find a mod that gives normal clothing some decent stats for TSL and I tried going and doing it myself, but its a bit much for me to comprehend.
To show what I mean, here's the one I used for KotOR. Basically gave normal clothing close to the stats of the lowest tier armor in the game.
Only thing I'd ask to be changed is the stats be something like:
Defense Bonus: 4
Improved Saving Throws: All 2
If someone could please make this mod, I would be very thankful.

Do you have Kotor Tool? If so do the following:
- Expand the Kotor II tree
- Expand BIFs
- Expand templates.bif
- Expand Blueprint, Item
- Find and highlight g_a_clothes01.uti
- Extract g_a_clothes01.uti to your Desktop
- Select File, Open GFF Files with Kotor Tool and open the extracted file
- In the "General" tab change the Template ResRef and Tag to something like g_a_clothesPC (I am assuming this is for clothing to be worn your PC)
- In the "Properties" tab double click the * to create a new property row
- In the Property Name drop down select "Defense Bonus", then set the Value drop down to 4, then select Add
- Repeat the above this time selecting "Improved Saving Throws" in the Property Name drop down, then select "All" in the Subtype drop down, then set the Value drop down to 2, then select Add
-Change the "Name" and "Identified Description" under the "Description" tab to whatever you wish the clothing to be called in game. Note that if this is for your PC you can set the "Name" to <FullName>'s Clothing to have it show as your PC's named clothing in game.
- Save your file as g_a_clothespc and place the file your Kotor II Override folder
- Use KSE or the cheat console to grant your new item in game.

While it is down, you can download it via the "Internet Archive Wayback Machine": Link

Not sure if I messed up somewhere, but when I save the file as you suggested, its no longer a .uti. Its just marked as "file" for its file type. I went back and remade it again, except I kept the default file name and made sure it saved as 'g_a_clothing01.uti'. Both times I tried using the console (I read up and did throw in 'enablecheats=1' in my swkotorii.ini file) and neither worked.
Is there any way to just change the existing 'Clothing' in-game with my stats?

Did you type in "giveitem g_a_clothes01" without the quotes? If not, that could be your problem.

Nope, I typed it without the quotes.
I'm also not sure where g_a_clothesPC would of been in the save editor, I found the inventory section and the part where I could scroll through every item in the game, but my new item wasn't in there and I dunno where else it'd be for me to add it from.
