A shootdodge is basically a bullet time maneuver where you go into slow motion, and dive in any direction. Say your walking down a hallway, and you hear some bad guys talking on the left side of the upcoming room. You go as far down the hall as you could, face the wall, and use the third person camera to see where they are. Then sidestep right and hit the right mouse button at the same time. Max would dive to his right, have about 2-3 seconds to kill the guys, then fall on his side and get up.

And no, JKII cannot have this unless they figure out a way to implement it in multiplayer or not use it in multiplayer at all, both of which are very unlikely.

Dont forget a matrix style effect is going to be added to obi wan, though i think it differs from shoot dodge in that when you execute a shoot dodge, you are in control of what max is doing where as in obi wan, the slowmo rotation will kick in if you bust off a cool sabre combo, and i dont think there is any control involved, you just watch the animation.

Theoretically, it is Star Warsish. I mean, bullet time in Max Payne simulates the feeling of one under fire having a cool, calm attitude. Experience. Is that so far out of the question.

Further, I remember while reading SOTE in Luke's battle with Guri at the end of the book, he felt as if he was in tune with the force and that he felt as though time was slowing down and could counter her moves better.

Either way, it won't be in the game.

Thumbs up

Using a bullet-time-ish feature in SP would be a good power to have, as it would be similar to Anakin being able to foresee things before they happened.

It is not possible to have it in MP. And if it was used in SP, it would dramatically change the game. Only those who have played Max Payne realize how much it changes a game--not using it in MP would make MP seem like a totally different game altogether.

Impossible. Forget about it.
