Post Final Fantasy

I just got back from seeing it. The only movie that comes close to being as impressive as this is Shrek. The life like faces in it were unbelievable. I was amazed by their hair, alone! As far as the story goes, It was pretty good but I the ending kinda let me down.

Has anyone else here been to see it yet?

I saw it this afternoon. I was pretty impressed by the quality. The old doctor dude looked more real than anything else in the movie... so real that it was scary.

The plot was kinda stupid, some corny lines (all of the pilot's weak attempts at comic relief were pretty bad), and seeing two computer generated things kiss is kinda strange, but it was still a good movie. It was a lot better than I expected, but that might be because of my low expectations going in there.

Definitely worth a matinee, and probably worth full price admission if you like this sort of thing.

One of these days, I swear, something to going to be developed and produced here, and if they don't damn well make them Yanks wait at least 6 months before they get it, I won't be happy!

I don't have anything against Americans, it's just frustrating, as you can imagin, having to wait 2-3 weeks to see/play what others have for almost a month!

Ah well, it teaches us humility!

Sorry, that was rather OT, I was just venting my annoyance...

Most movies these days are produced in Fox Studios in Sydney!!!
And still we get them delayed!
Ep 2 and 3 are being done down here, as well as Matrix 2 and 3!
Damnit!

Like I said, humility...

Breathtaking and Incredible, what more can I say, I went to see it last night and almost all the people there were fans of the games. The CG is probably the best ever done and the scale is quite impressive. the plot seemed fine to me and my friends, and the ending was IMHO good as far as I'm concerned perhaps not quite what we were all expecting but still good. I'm going to see it again tomorrow night. All I can say is go see it and judge for yourself.

Happiness will Prevail!

I imagin so, unless we pre-order from overseas, through EBWorld or whatever. Problem with that is it cost me more than double. Which I'm willing to pay, it's just frustrating...

Unless someone wants to post me a copy?
