New Forum Name Contest / Vote

Okay... It's about time we gave this forum a new name... Theed Hangar was meant to be temporary. So... Lets get the names flowing and then we'll decide as a community. Now how's that for democracy on a web site?

Seriously though... you guys should have a say in this.. so please list your suggestions for a new name. Of those I've seen listed so far.. I kind of like the sound of "Moldy Crow Cantina" and "Yoda's Swamp" ... but lets see what else people come up with.. then we'll vote.

Winner even gets an email @jediknightii.net to make it worth your while to think about a good name.

Well, seeing as we talk about anything and everything STAR WARS in here, and we are loads of people from all over the globe, the Cantina one seems to sum it up pretty nice. Or we could be traditional and call it something predicable but fancy like 'The Galactic Senate. But i vote Cantina.

Yeah, Vader's Asthma Clinic is v.good, but i don't know if it is a good idea for the forum thingy to be called that. maybe the cantina ones, or the council ones would be better, or at least more suited to the general feel of the forums

Well I guess anything that doesn't have "cantina" in it (it's good, but overused) is fine by me.

We could call it "The Carbon Freeze" you know, like the Tastee Freeze (Ice cream) joint. Nah.....

Just don't call it "Jar Jar's Alphabet Galaxy," heh.

I like all this stuff about the Jedi, but it is Too close to the Jedi Temple name of the other room thingy. I think this should be just the normal population of the galzy without the mysterious powers of the jedi, so it should be The Galactic Senate or something like that. just the voice of the normal people.

I love Vader's Asthma Clinic, it's very original, and comical.

But there are people out there who would want a more sophisticated name. I guess I'm suggesting that Vader's Asthma Clinic is put in the poll at least, let the people decide!

Letalis, That is a very good point, I am beginning to like the aussies! (until the ashes start, but lets not go there.) If it can be put on the poll and then people can decide what they want.

To be slightly more serious, The Theed Hangar "notion" is where you can talk about anything and that is meant to be reflected in the name I have proposed. If you want serious discussion you have the main room.

My name may crash and burn and some people may find it a little silly, but that is the point! The Theed hangar is meant to be fun!

That would have probably won the poll, but If its not in the run I go for The Moldy Crow Cantina, Yodas Swamp or Wookie Woodstock (but I guess that wouldnt be considered either)
