Guess the number of members registered on this forum (or be the closest) for the release date of JK2 and win a prize!

For the release, I'm guessing there will be a lot less then those numbers. Shortly after the release, I'll bet it gets huge

Jeeez, I bet that a few weeks after the release the numbers going to be like 4,292. Maybe you should keep track of post release guesses too.

hi gonk, what is your final deadline for this? I know you say three weeks, but when do you mean the game release?

2 weeks after the game comes out?

Not everyone gets the game released the same time as the yanks do..

anyway, I'm gonna say 2100...its a conservative estimate...

i think its gona be around 7010...remember that a lot of other less recieved games had a forum count of 5000 when they were released and since JK2 is a good game im even thinking alot higher than that...

wardz. the first day it comes out, which will be in the states. anyway, if someone doesnt record what it is, then it will be whatever it is when i look at the forums on that particular day.

I'd be too busy kicking some stormtrooper ass. Maybe a few days later you would head out here but not immediately, so I think the number will be a little less than people think.

However, if Raven keeps releasing those shiznit screenies and we get a mad influx of fans, perhaps some of those guesses may not be so far out after all?

thats exactly why this will work. everyone will register on the weeks beforehand, and everyone will be playing it on THAT day, so we wont have to worry about discrepancies over the member count here. there shouldnt be much alteration on that day (hopefully)

The week I started playing JK MP (and before I had even gotten half-way through the SP campaign), I went to JK.net. Of course back then you didn't have to register...

Before that I used Scorched's forums (which were really just forums, but most people used them as IP boards at the time) and they didn't require registration either.

I got to Scorched via a search I did almost immediately after getting the game.

It wasn't until many many months later that I even tried playing on "The Zone" (the general consensus of people at the time was that it was "too slow" there).

when in fact they are member #516
