Episode 1 DVD; deleted scenes

I was just watching the scene where Anakin was fighting Greedo. Does anyone else feel that that scene should have been left in? It shows the dark side of Anakin and makes him show his anger which explains more his path to the dark side......

Yes. Of all the deleted scenes, that one deserved to be left in.

I am glad that the waterfall scene was deleted (too many cliffhangers in the preceding sequence)

The podrace stuff was not necessary, either. The podrace was over-long as it was. (I find myself skipping the podrace sequence, altogether, when I re-watch the film)

I wouldn't have minded if the scene where Qui-gon sliced the sith-probe was left in the final print.

Did you notice that all the deleted stuff came out of the first hour? Did they not edit anything out of the last hour?

There was alot more deleted stuff that they didn't put in the DVD. They'll probably save it for later or not release it at all. For instance, the guy who played the roll Jimmy Smits has now. They'll never show that.

LOL! That would have had Lucasarts admitting defete in a way.

There was a 'bootleg' of Episode 1 going aroudn for a while that had certain scenes edited from it. Namely any scene with Jar Jar that was not nesecary for the plot, and misc scenes like the farting animal in pod race and Anikan yelling "Yippie!!!".

When Lucasarts found out people were selling these tapes for money they put a stop to it as it is illegal.

does anyone know of a way to integrate the deleted scenes into the film on the DVD?
