Whatever happened to that new Sam and Max comic by Steve Purcell? Is it still in the making? I do believe it had something to do with that cover from Surfing the Highway, in which a monkey is with Sam and a newspaper says that Max was shot........

I think work on that comes and goes proportionately to how much other work Steve Purcell is doing. Like, right now he's working at Pixar and also supervising the creation of the new Sam & Max game at Infinite Machine, so my best guess would be that time left for the comic is somewhere around not much. Just a guess though. Could come out tomorrow for all I know.

The latest S&M comic that I saw was released back in 1995.

I didnt realize that Steve still makes them.

They showed up in a couple shorts in Fox Kids magazine, and there was a 3 page color special Halloween themed one in Wizard around 1998. No independant books for a while though.

Steve Purcell was working on a full new story theoretically more the length of "Bad Day On The Moon" or "On The Road" a year or so ago, but there hasn't been much news about it in a while.

The first 6 pages or so are funny

Ok, but look at this. Ho's means something owned by a ho, like "This is the Ho's toy" It's a possession thing in grammar. So, the plural of Ho, I thought, would be Hos. Just what I thought.
