I bought Star Wars: X Wing Alliance and I
need some help with some stuff, and I wonder can you
help me out please?

The 1st thing I like help out is, how many points
you need to get promoted to each rank?

The 2nd is in the combat sim, you can get a better
ranking or something, can you tell me what the ranks are
and how many points I need to get them please?

Can you send it to me on a txt file so I can print
it out please, thanks ?

All that information should have come with the game. Look at the various text files on the CD.

Is it me or it tell were to post XWA related messages? At forum choosing page doesn't it say this forum is for general topics and XWA related stuff should be posted in the XWA General forum? I'm sorry newbie or not it just gets kind of annoying after awhile.
