What ever became of the "gift" to the forums?

Maybe I'm alittle behind times, but the last time I started checking the forums agian I noticed posts about "Our holiday gift to the forums". Alot of people had ideas about easter eggs, or secrets that would have something in them that only a forum goer would know of... (such as galactic plumber man, though he did originate on the obi-wan forums..), or something like a lucky persons name in the game or something.

But anyways... what ever become of that? Was the trailer our gift, or is it yet to come?

Good point. I'd forgotten about that with all of the other stuff we've been getting recently.

As far as I was aware, Aristotle or zeroXcape (I think it was zero) was going to set up a poll of some sort somewhere (either JK2.net page or in the forums...) but nothing seems to have happened about it yet, and it's starting to get a bit close to release for Raven to put too much more in...

I'm certain that the trailer was not the 'holiday gift', however.

Can anyone enlighten us as to the status of the whole 'holiday gift' thing?

Mabey they are going to realese the game to fourum mebers first. it isn't very likely but it sure would be good. Don't ask me how they would do it, mabey have lucas arts have a section were you can puta fourum name and password, or they could put a code of some sort in the fourums. But it would get out of control and released to the public, for example I would tell my brother and he would probably tell some of his friends and before you can say "I have a dumb idea" it would be on some website. but, if they could do it I think that it would be

Keep in mind that one of the more popular gifts requested would actually *not* be seen until the game is released... because it required it to be within the game...

Nothing is set in stone, but lets just say we've set in motion trying to bring about one of your more popular requests...

Next week you will be getting more exclusive goodies... so don't worry about materials along those lines.

When we have confirmed that the *gift* is good to go 100%, at that point, we'll share it with the community.

You didn't think we would just forget about it did you? Not our style.
