Question XWA - Film clip oddity

Hi,

One of my squad pilots recently sent me a XWA film clip. In this clip, he thought he had successfully completed a custom mission and thus recorded the entire event on film.

When I viewed his clip, he was actually shot down during the mission !

I then sent the same clip to 4 other different players.

Three of them saw what I saw (a failed mission where the main player was shot down).
One of them saw what the original player saw (a successful mission where the main player survived).

Can someone exlain to me what on earth is going on ? How can the same clip be viewed differently ?!

Anticipated thanks for your suggestions - any suggestions !

First time I've heard of something like this. I guess you either

a) saw different movies
b) encountered a serious bug
c) smoked something

often there is problems if you have differant Mods, or meshes in your games.

i saw one film clip of a guy who said he took out 5 Captial ships ina R-41

all i saw was him scraping the side of the hull of a ISD II, and fireing at random.

it seemstaht i had a lot of Mods on my version of XWA, and he jsut had the normal version.

Remember, the film jsut carries data on where things are, and where they go, and waht the player did., there is not graphics in the film clip at all
