every game ins australia cost double the amount of the U.S so theres no loss. its normal price of new release games. for us that is.

its not an extra $50 - $99 is normal price for newly released games in aus. plus, $99 is the equivilant to $50 US - its just that our economy is crap, so our dollar is worth less.

firstly - that wasn't a history lesson, that was a lesson on the present - but anyway.

This thread is all about when the game will be released in aus - hence it has a lot to do with getting it before the US. Plus it just proves what everyone already knew, that Australia is better the USA

hehe....australia getting the game 1st? Seems a bit odd. Maybe thast the country were all the packaging and CD's were produced so it makes sense to release it there 1st if thats the case. I can only hope my pre-order here in the UK arrives soon

You are all forgetting the one major factor into Australia getting the game first: We have a smaller market. The master CD's are shipped over here, we burn the copies, whack em in a box and distribute them. Considering the population difference, last time I checked America had 300,000,000 ppl (correct me if im wrong..) and Aus had 20,000,000 ppl. That means you guys need about 15 times the amount of copies until it gets in store - that would take a quite considerable amount of time.

And for those saying "australian cant get the game first americas the best wahh", grow up. There are other countries than your own, that they have feelings too.

I'm gonna go to a.....local illegal store of pc games....u know....they cost half a dollar each there [ i'm NOT joking!!!! ].....
and check if they have it.They allways get games very quickly.I'll ask them on any info they have for JO..Just wait

Look at it this way : the 29th of March is the date you'll definitely see it in stores. Some could get it earlier, but none should get it later.

My Local EB Store down the street says that I will be able to pick up my pre order on the 28th of this month. I assume that most of us will either get it the 28th or 29th of this month unless of course you ordered through LEC hehe.

its amazing to see how many people in this thread are in denile. I wouldn't be surprised if australia get it first and to be honest I wouldn't care either. As long as stores in england get some copies in, in the next couple of weeks, I'll be happy.

I've got the same answer as lordvader and Jedimaster74. Local EBX store (USA) says the 28th for pre-orders. Glad for the Australians if you do get it earlier...you deserve it for once. Just try not to ruin/spoil the game for those who won't have it yet!!
