Is that a jump puzzle?

On level 2, where there's an electrified water pit, I crossed the small bridge and went push a button... This pulled lots of columns in the huge room with 4 turrets... I jumped on most of them, but what gives? I'm stuck, please help...

Well, first you can only reach one platform, in another room is a second button,
it will change the "columns", now you can reach the other 2 platforms.
But actually you don't need that, these are only secrets, go to the tower
where the electrified water is, at the foot of the tower
is an entrance.

That room is for getting bonus stuff; nothing is required there to complete the level.

There's another room with a button that, when pushed, will rearrange the heights of the columns again.
