Okay ... I figured some things out. I just hope I'll be permitted. I haven't figured naming and things like that out. Just the stats:

Ryn

Ryn are a nomadic species hailing from an unknown region of the Core. They are descended from flying mammals, and are covered in short, bristly hair that is often of varying color. Ryn have a reputation of being thieves and confidence men, but are usually good to get along with. In addition to wearing outlandish and sometimes vulgar fashions, they have tremendous music aptitude - which likely evolved along with their perforated, flute-like beak.

+2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma. Ryn are very well versed in the workings of cultures across the Galaxy. While their nomadic nature has given them a good amount of practical knowledge, their secrecy and reputation as con men and ne'er-do-wells has bred prejudice among the rest of the galaxy.
Medium-size: As medium-size beings, Ryn have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Ryn base speed is 10 meters.
Prehensile Tail: Ryn have limited use of their tails. They have enough control to move relatively heavy objects (under 90 kilograms), but the control is not fine enough to perform fine manipulation (for example, to aim a weapon).
Perceptive: Ryn gain the Sharp-eyed feat for free.
Automatic Languages: Ryn, Basic.

Yes, Gamma732 is well aware of the traditions of the Gand, however, being a merc-type person, Gamma732 may see it fit to have Gamma732's character to part from those traditions. Gamma732 will decide later when he has more time. That is if ya smell what..........ah forget it lol

Why don't you make one up, Kvan? Here's the info in the essential guide to aliens:

Defel/ Wraith

Designation: Sentient

Planet of Origin: Af'El

Average Height: 1.7 metres

The Defels, often called wraiths, are stocky, fur covered humanoids with protruding snouts and hands with long claws and triple jointed digits. They can only be seen undert ultra violet light. In standard light, Defels appear to be little more than ghosts- red eyed shdows that are difficult to detect with the human eye. They have the ability to bend light around there bodies, causing them to blend in with there surroundings. Defel's live in underground cities on their homeworld, where they are known for their ore mining facilitiesand there excellence in metallurgy. Offworld, Defels are often hired as spies and assassins due to there ability to 'disappear'

Well ... My ship is 20,000 credits. Those other two are 200,000 & 80,000 credits ... now that is a major difference.

I'm picturing as a setting a bit like Mos Eisley in ANH. A spaceport with a cantina ...

YT-2000 are fairly new models. They play a big role in XWA, I don't know if they were manufactored back then.
