please read im in desperate need of editing help

Is there neway to get the boring old blue saber to be a differnt colour like red or green cos with the cheat you have to retype it or bind it to a key which you have to press at the start of evry level. ive made the saber red in the cutscenes but i cant get it red in the actual game can you please help

Download the carnage mod from Here
It makes your saber red and adds some other twists to the game too.

thanx neway

yeah i tried that but the saber was only red in the cutscenes like ive got it to do myself, but its still blue in-game, do i just have to restart the game to collect my saber again or is it just sumthing you cant change.

put the command in a file called autoexec.cfg in the \base directory, it will be executed every time you start the game.

wot the hell does that mean, im 14 and im just getting used 2 this editing thing, infact ive made a goth jan skin and a jerec skin but i havnt got round to posting them, neway what autoexec thing and will it make the saber red in-game aswell as in the cutscene

Ok, do the following:

Go to your Jk2/gamedata/base directory and create a new textfile and name it autoexec.cfg.
Now you can add all commands, that should be executed when a game is loaded in this file, e.g.

set devmapall
set sabercolor red

I'm not sure if devmapall works this way, if not try

set helpusobi 1

I have not tested it but it should work.

thanx i tried something along those lines earlier but i didnt try set, i tried seta but that jus makes the saberColor cheat no work.

seta changes the variable permanently, set only when the file is loaded, that's the difference.
BTW, did it work? It would be interesting to hear if this changes the sabercolor froom the start.

if uve made jerec, release him!!!!!!!!
i loved jerec, hes my fav character of all time apart from ewoks and jawas

so release him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a while ago on here digital ronin made a script to change the saber color script that i grabbed. its really easy you can pick any of the colors with one button.

ok ive released my jerec skin and ive tried all ur help, but it onlu works the once, also i already bound keys to diffrnt saber colour so i can choose wotevr colour i want aswell, but if im gonna PERManently change it i need something new
