I have a great idea for this mode, the "kings" would be:

-Trade Federation: Nute Gunray
-Naboo: Queen Amidala
-Empire: The Emperor
-Rebels: Mon Mothma
-Gungans: Boss Nass
-Wookiees: A Wookiee ruler (there isn't a famous one)

Merely esthetic suggestion, but it'd look real cool

More like the ruler of the city durring Heir to the Empire when the hide in the wookie city. The one that speaks bad wookie.

I hope that the "kings" aren't some fat little guy that runs around when his castle is destroyed.

Personaly I hope they can fight. Like El Cid, Arthur, etc.

yeah, but it is funny when you have a bunch of trebs destroy a castle and then the king goes running around with nowhere to hide.

Well they'll probably arm the hero's if it's appropriate, I'll state what I find most likely for the ones listed in the beginning of this thread:

Nute Gunray: Doesn't seem very likely, he was never armed throught the movies, he seems to depend on the protection of his escort, so no they probably won't arm him.

Queen Amidala: Probably will arm her, she does know how to use a blaster, as is shown in ep. 1, and anyway, a gun seems to go naturally with someone of her character.

The Emperor: Will most likely have Jedi abilities.

Mon Mothma: She seems to be another one who relies on escort, however she seems more likely to be armed, then Gunray, but still not likely.

Boss Nass: Not a lot is known about him, nor is it known (to me) if he is trained in weapon use.

A Wookiee ruler: I don't know anything about the Wookiee ruler (if there is one), so I won't say anything.?

wookies dont need weapons training. all they have to use is their bare hands

Wookies use bowcasters. So most likely the Wookie ruler will have a slightly more powerful one.

Yes, all wookies are faced with the task of building a bowcastor, or at least, all the males are, so a wookiee ruler should be armed.

As for Boss Nass, he seems to large to fight with a spear or to throw something very far, so it's not likely that he will be armed. But others like tarpals will be of course.

In AOK regicide games they had a technology, that whenever you bought it, it would show the location of the enemy king. It always cost the same amount and you could get it as many times as you wanted. I hope that in GB they put a limit on this, I think it'd make the game more interesting if one side was winning, but couldn't find the enemy king as easily as in AOK.

By placing a limit on such a technology a person couldn't just keep hitting it and would save that tech. for their strike. It would add more depth to the game

Actually, I wouldn't like them to fight.

I agree Gamma that would make it better than AOK.(Which this game is gonna destroy.)

GB will be AoK equal for non sw fans. and for SW fans it will destroy it hands down.

I think that is somewhat true, but i also think that in terms of gameplay this game will be superior. It won't just be Star Wars that makes it great, they have made many improvements to the "AOK part" of the game as well.

Yeah, probably one of the biggest differences is that almost everybody is an archer.

Even though wookies have council you need a ruler to play this type of skirmish....

Well, chewie could be the wookie hero, like X-guy said. Or they could choose just one of the wookie heroes that they will likely have. Maybe it could be Chewie's father

In the book Shield of Lies, it told of a wookie leader I can't think of the name though. They might use him.

Like I said in Heir to the Empire the had a leader of the city...Ruuakaa...something like that (or maybe not...been a while.)

That was who I was thinking of.

i read that they will have a commander unit. this unit will act as a king and most likely will have no attack.
