A open-gl problem

A open-gl problem

Hello all out there. I have a problem and I hope anybody can help me.

My monitor screen freezes but the game goes on. My energy and ammo display starts to blink. When I push ESC two times it will be fine for a few seconds then it happens again.
So it freezes like 40(!) times in one minute. When I disable open-gl support it will be fine but the game is too slow then.

PLEASE I NEED HELP

Here's the specs on my computer:
AMD Duron 800 MHz
GeForce 2 MX 400
512 MB RAM
Asus A7V
Windows 2000 Professional
Direct X 8.1
NVidea Detonator 28.32

PS: JK2 is realy the best game ever

Well, I wasn't having this exact problem, but perhaps my solution will work anyway.

I had the "couldn't load OpenGL Subsystem" error, and figured out that the new nvidia drivers weren't completely removing all the old drivers (at least that's the way it acted).

Here's what I did, maybe it'll work for you:

Install an old set of drivers (I used 21.83, you can get them from www.geforcezone.com), reboot.

Then install the newest ones again, and reboot. Then try running the game.

If this doesn't work, I don't really know what to tell you.
