i can't help it, but i think the arms are still too long and the head is too small.
but you did a perfect job on the skin, and the rest of the model looks fantastic!

WOW, Looking Great!!!

Arms are fine, but the skeleton will be the final word on that anyways.

Calves seem a bit round though, but I've not seen a back shot of her really. Hard to tell when watching the movies.

Cant wait to see more!

Thank you sooooo much for doing this model. Although we need Leia in her slave garb for sure, I really had hoped someone would do this too.

If someone does a slave garb can they "barrow" your Leia face, you did the job like a pro and I doubt anyone else could do better.

My only constructive critisism (getting hard to spell, tieing one on) is and I will have to look at a reference pic, the boots look to light. I thought they were dark leather or brown plastic.

Anyway, thanks a bunch for yet another cool bounty hunter skin, we need them for the jedi vrs merc mod that is coming out. (cant wait, I'll slice those mercs like fish)

On a side note to any who skin. There is a naked model floating around these forums. If you used that model with this head and gave here a cool but tasteless gold slave garb you would have the model everyone has been waiting for. (chesire kat your good at making horny chicks )

Thanks a bunch, Gadget.

I am using the Shadows of the Empire action figure as well as the few decent pics I found online and the movie as reference. The action figure is where the back comes from. And the boots.

And I haven't reproportioned her via the skeleton yet. She will be when the time comes.

I have access to a copy of Max 4 now, so I should be able to get it in fairly quickly when I am finished skinning and making the LOD's.

Oddjob, I can't PM you and the admin of the forums disabled email.

I would like to direct your attention to this model, it was designed so the author says, to experiment with skin tones. We all agree Absath did a very good job with the skin tones.

My suggestion is, with your permission, we use the head off of the Leia model (best I've seen of her) and apply it to this skin with a new skin of her in the slave garb of Return of the Jedi.

This is a most requested skin from the community and it is nearly complete right now! it just needs a little skinning. I cannot skin or model yet (researching now) but I have asked Absath if he is interested since he is so good with skin tones.

Please consider this project seriously. It is more than some perverted experiment. It could be a truly awsome skin, especially on the Pit of Kancoon maps.

This is a link to the thread and the picture of the model to be reskinned.

If somebody makes a nice, tasteful, decent quality skin, I might think about it. My skin isn't all that great, personally. But I am open for the idea at least.

You should make the knees bigger, or emphasize them in some way, because to front side of the legs looks identical to the reaar side. Otherwise, those are pretty cool skins.

Good idea. I'll give defining the knees a try. In the mean time, here are the newly proportioned models. I used the Kyle model as a template. That should have fixed all the proportion problems.

You know I'm loving this Oddjob!

Everytime you update and Spacemonkey and I are in Chat I make him look at it. I was gonna bitch about the shoulder strap placement, before, but I'm glad I didn't. Looks GREAT!!!

It's based on American and Hong Kong action movies. And it's called 'Action'

It looks like AHL is just a mod to make Half-Life into Max Payne.

Except that Aciton Half Life came out 2 years BEFORE Max Payne. And Action Quake 2, was out in '97. And it's multi-player, which Max Payne is not.

As for an update, I am currently trying desperately to get my model in to JKII. It's not going well. I finally got it to compile, but there are a myariad of problems now. The animations seem to all be off, the shader I made for the helmet/no helmet effect is just plain not working and while it deforms fairly decently, it has holes that I don't see in Max on the seams. Oh, and the entire thing's normals are the opposite of what they are in Max. I fixed that though. But now it's inverted in Max. Good thing I have a few days off next week.

Really nice model and skin!
The lower legs look a tiny bit too short. Other than that top notch!

Have you played it? If not then dont judge it. It is easily the best mod out there for Half-Life, and is very little like Max Payne apart from the diving and action movie resemblance.

Ooooh, feisty. Did I say the mod was bad? I just commented on the resemblance apparent to me from the screenshots I saw. Don't get so upset because I compared your precious Half-Life to another game.

Is it just the lighting or something else coz her skin colour seems to be a bit too pale.

Just another question and/or suggestion: I don't see any neck on the model, is this just the angle of the screenshot or what? If there isn't much of one then I'd suggest you somehow make some of the neck show.

Other than that, the textures and shading are awsome!!

I think some of the previous posts in this thread were lost when they moved the Forums to the new server. I believe Oddjob said that he was leaving for a few weeks and would finish up the model when he returned from wherever it was he was going.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to poke oddjob and hellmaster. They kinda ran out of energy. Where are the sparks? Get swinging! I think you two should take it into the ring! Make sure to use the dismemberment mod.

Oh... while I'm at it:
While the bottom part of the legs are short, the rest of it KICKS MAJOR BUTT!
You might want to take some artistic license with the boots. Add some kind of texturing...
