Tricks of the trade.

Ive seen two moves pulled off and havn't been able to duplicate it. Not sure what im doing wrong though I must admit I havn't spent that much time trying.

1. A person would run at me and do the medium finisher where the person jumps over your head and stabs down. However this guy would pull the move and instantly break it in midstance and continue moving. This effectivly took away the vulnerability. I still kicked the guys butt but it had me curious how he was doing it.

2. This one guy had saber thrower and he could control where he wanted it to go. Now this, of course, is due to level 3 force. However this guy was making the saber go farther out, come closer, go farther again, and he even had it going into the ground at one point. He would make the saber come up out of the ground and hit me and I couldn't block it. Does it take lots of practice or something because as soon as my saber hits the ground or a wall it instantly bounces back to my hand.

Another question about saber throw: some ppl saber throw and then let their saber circle around their head, like some sort of lassoo.

Anyone knows how thats done?
