Did it solve the problem when you did it?

I tried the game the other day (the demo of course) and realized just how yucky it looks on my system. The text is all chunky, and some of the sounds don't play. I guess I'd rather play Rogue Squadron than this game..
; P
I'm still glad I never bought it!

Shadows of the Empire is the most underrated Star Wars game along with TPM. Great gameplay and lot of fun. I even find the graphics to be better than Jedi Knight. For now, I'm at the Sewers of Xizor's Palace and I have had so much fun.

but it because it IS cool. after you buy it and beat it, rewatch all of the trilogy special edition, and you'll notice alot of cool stuff, like the hover train, hover platforms, outrider, etc. the swoop level is so cool, you know that big rocket thing in mos eisely, well you get to fly really fast past it. There's also a droid that'll appear in episode 2, the gladiator droid, and ig-88 is in it, it's a cool game!

Yeah, if the game was good enough for Lucas to add elements from it to the Special Edition, it's good enough for me.
Great, how many games do I still need to get?
Jedi Knight, Mysteries of the Sith, Battle for Naboo, Shadows of the Empire, Force Commander, maybe Rebellion, is there any more? Geez, I need to prioritize.
On the other hand, I wonder if there will be any better Episode Two games...

I really don't know that much at all about Rebellion. Is it that bad?

Kurgan! The demo i got didn't run at all! It must've been corrupted or something. They should've had a level where you are on foot, or at least the swoop level. the swoop level is my favorite although i like every level in the game...

no it's not too bad in my opinion. It's just hard until you get enough ships to make a giant fleet and keep the rebels from stealing resources.

The next Star Wars games I plan to get are Battle for Naboo and X-wing Alliance. When I saw that you could destroy the second Death Star, I wanted the game right away. Soon...

In places the graphics do seem nicer than JK, but the overall design and gameplay (not to mention the story and characters) IMHO in JK are far superior.
As a game I just didn't enjoy SOTE that much to get into it. And yes, I read the comic, listened to the album and read the novel. It was a nice diversion I guess.

I think i like jedi knight better than sote. Although sote had more original levels (you were never in the same type of area twice), but when i got jedi knight, i loved it because you could actually see the weapon you were firing, and it wasn't always the blaster, the stormtroopers would talk, you'd get a lightsaber, there were civilians who you could be mean to etc.

Bakudo, I LOVED X-wing Alliance, it really was a lot of fun, especially the final Death Star II battle at the end. MOST entertaining.
A few STUNNINGLY DIFFICULT missions, but all in all, if you can find it, buy it.

And the physics in SotE just didn't seem right. The characters didn't have many keys,"animations" either and the ones they did have made them look like robots. I thought Jedi Knights levels were pretty original.

I calculated the odds that this would work versus the odds that I was doing something incredibly stupid...and I went ahead anyway.
