Why do some change their avatar so much ?
Why do some people change their avatar so much ? I noticed how it's hard to keep track who is easily identifiable as who nowadays. Some change their avatar every other few days !!

Well i used to change mine every few hours
I think people change them because;
A. They find something better
or
B. They get bored with their avatar quickly.
You've only changed you avatar once, right Leon?

I just like máking Avatars ...
Maybe this time I'll stay with Calvin ... only other images. Can't promise tough
He ho to the bottle I go
To heal my heart and drown my woe
rain may fall and wind may blow
but there still be many miles to go
Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain
and the stream that falls from hill to plain
Better than rain or rippling brook
is a mug of beer inside this Took

i didn't really 'change' mine... i enhanced it or rather; i put the enhancement mailed to me (thanks Kvan) in it's place..
i think it brings a sense of familiarity if you stick to a certain avatar. Already i'm associating Rhett with smoking pot..

Is that what yoda is smokin'?
I do associate people with certain avatars, but I like changing mine a lot cause I got bored easly with the ones I use
I hate it when people use an avatar that someone else used. That can get confusing (i know all I have to do is look at their name)

i plan on holding on to this one for a while, yeah...
at least until the boards are really booming with life.
then it's total chaos anyway.
well, i guess i'll change it eventually, but í'm really looking for one that's a bit out-of-the-ordinary. So no 'typical icon hero' stuff.

Gamma I associate you with a Gand (maybe its just because I've been working with your RPG character)
For some reason When I think of Leon, I think of a giant pink head...odd...I think it's because of YD's smileys..

What about mine? I have had only two avatars since the launch of this site.
The first was said to scare some people because it looked like the devil.
The second one is basicly a new version:
he looks like he smashed a nintendo controler after dying 15 times at the same spot.

I gave Rommel a Plo Koon a while ago ... So now you look like Rommel (It's hard to look unique ... especially when we switch a lot)

Okay ... a bit.
Jedi Masta ... if you know a character that yo want to have as an avatar lemme know. I'll make one for you.
BTW, this was Rommels avatar:

He ho to the bottle I go
To heal my heart and drown my woe
rain may fall and wind may blow
but there still be many miles to go
Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain

Yeah, that's the avatar I associate Rommel with.
I've had 3 avatars since I've been here. First Star Wars card Thrawn, followed by the TIE Interceptor that Tie gave me, and finally my almighty clawcraft (which I like better than all my others).
Dare I ask what you guys associated me with?
BTW If there was another avatar I used just mention it.
Thrawn's Driving Theories
1. Green light means go. Yellow light means go faster. Red light means you didn't go fast enough.
2. If you don't like the way I drive, stay off the road. . . and the sidewalk. . . heck don't come outside.
3. I'm going to drive really, really fast. That way I'll pass all the scenes of the accidents before they even happen!
4. Real men don't need brakes.
5. If other cars can't feel your CD playing, it's not loud enough.
Motto: As far as I can, as fast as I can, as loud as i can.

Could one you guys help me out. I'd like my clawcraft to be colored, but I don't want the shading messed up. A grey or grey/blue would be good. Please help.

Hmm, i've had a buch. I started out with the TIE X2 in the death star trench. Then i got the spinning TIE Int, then the defender. Then i changed mine in quick succession, when i started making my own. I had that RA2 one for a while, which i liked. Now i've go this A9, which i pretty cool i think, and i'll have it for a while.
BTW, you've had that avatar for so long, leon, that i'm beginning to think that that is what you actually look like.
